but u dont get fraises or cheese, u get art from contributers

@wing: I don't think it's necessarily free if it's from a contest, they could give cheese instead then, I'm not bothered lol.
@kattie: Only once in awhile, and personally I don't think getting a quick sketch headshot is good enough for a prize.

Both cheese and fraises won't be given for free, I can see your point in it not necessarily being free, though. But yeah that's how it goes, suggestions about trading shop items back for cheese is considered free cheese as well and will not be implented.

What Kattiej said is also true though. The prize depends on the contributor(s). If it's a sketch headshot, then a headshot it is.. I'm one to join these kind of things for fun, though. Rather than for the prizes.

actually there are like 4 going on right now. I mean erm i contribute sometimes so yea.... and as chantallex said people do these things knowing about wut they would get for a prize

I loved the fur contest and I wish it would happen again even if the furs would not be added to the game. This sounds awesome and honestly the prizes offered in user made contests are not nearly worth it due to no giving cheese to others or anything and really most of the guys who offer prizes have free requests anyway

I think that if the prize of cheese or fraises isn't allowed, then maybe if it was an art contest the art could be featured or something on the front page or something similar.

If that's the case, then I assume you do not want the players to host these things but the admins. I don't think they have time to hold a drawing competition weekly, even monthly.
1. One week is a short time for a drawing contest or any contest/event. So month would make more sense, even though I still think it's a bad idea.
2. Means you'll have to be judging the entries while a second contest/event is running.

And fan art actually gets featured like.. Weekly I think, not sure.

Technically it's not free cheese because they earned it from the contest. Thats why Map Maker Contests are allowed to give 'free' cheese and the fr/es/br communities hold contests too.
