Welcome to #playground thread. This minigame is made by Ediz and Shamousey. Playground is based around custom scripted maps, each map has its own events and things happening that aren't possible with regular maps. Shaman objects could be spawning that you have to dodge or use to your advantage, portals that you have to jump in at just the right time, or almost anything imaginable!
Playground was originally made by Rype, under the name "minibootcamp". It used to be run through a bot and had a few maps by himself.
Then Moepl made another bot where players could submit their scripts for the original minigame like this, and they can still be run through his tribe bot.
The maps of playground are challenging and fun, you can see a simple racing map while there may be a nightmare map, where anvils go wild and try to kill you.
There are special modes in Playground too!
•Every round, there's a 10% chance that team mode will be activated. Players will be split into two teams and have to race for the cheese, the team with the highest amount of points at the end of the round are the winners.
•There are future plans for special modes, including tribewar-racing and teams with shamans.
Currently, we're really in need of more maps. If you want to find out how to make a map for #playground and submit it for official rotation, please visit this thread Topic-465641. You can test your maps in the tribe house by loading the module (/module playground) and then using the command !map @code.
Thanks to Baffler for adding his script editor and make it easier for people to edit their maps.
A few days ago,I feel that this game is just like bootcamp and I want to name it with torture.Until I see this topic in detail,under the name "minibootcamp"
Back to topic,I have suggestion only for the purpose of attracting more ppl come and play.
Make the time shorter,simplify the map.
Ppl are usually impatient.Also not many ppl are able to defate this miniBC.If the map is in respawn.Those ppl tried,give up.Then they can only watch the time counting down.
For simplicity,perhaps,Rype's map @440439,change it from 4 units to 3 units.And reduce the time from 180 to 135.
If the time is shorter and the map is more sample.It can
1.reduce time they wait.
2.other mice still have enough time to challenge the map.This change shuold be unlikely to affect their performance.
3.fits the concept minibootcamp,not too hard,but not too easy
and one thing,thx Baffler,playground editor is quite helpful
