Chat Hiding?

Not sure if this is already a feature or not, but I’ve had a damn good hunt for it and came up short. So if this already IS a feature, you'll have to forgive me for making this thread.

Anyway....

I'd like to think of myself as a fairly "Social" player of Transformice... I like to discuss with other players in-game, and I love to frequent the forum almost every day.
But I think we can all agree that there are just going to be those players that annoy the ever-living bajeebus out of us. And yes... I know there’s an “Ignore User” button, but it does get quite annoying when I have to keep on resorting to mashing it when entering any given room.
So here’s my suggestion:

What if there was a “Hide Chat” button?

Just a small little option in the settings that minimizes the chat bar for a while. Could help players concentrate on the game more often, and might even reduce the amount of trolls and spammers dotted around and about.

So... Any ol’ feedback I guess? Whether you agree or disagree with me, I’d like to hear what it is exactly that you like about this idea, or what you would personally change about it.

If you want to disable bubble chat, you can do /shooting to disable it. (won't work on main chat.) If you want to hide that one too, you can make a private chat, so you can go to it without seeing people say things. Ex: /chat example

ok this is necrobumped but i guess ill chime on this in hopes for not seeing this locked actually

if you really think more carefully about it, then it has more potential that it could give if being worked on this. one of them that it could benefit users who have small screens and can't see the whole map - with this implementation this could resolve it

on the other hand - what would happen to the rest of it - emotes/score and best times. otherwise it should be designed so it can be seen unless you dont really look at this but it would price to pay for some in exchange for this

with that said i /halfsupport this seeing it could be problematic for other features cause I don't really imagine having a hole on left side would be looking good as well

I think you can just change the chat size using /chatsize (default 12)

The name of the command is /fontsize - there's no such command as /chatsize.
