apparently the bbcode system that this html forum is using does not support the tags being in caps.

I've noticed this too.. It may not be a major thing, but it's annoying having to re-type the img tags every time I want to post an image. '-'

It's not annoying... it's utterly stupid because the old forums had capitalized tags working.

I literally tried to copy-paste the BBCode formatted link from imgur to post that image on a thread and it didn't work. How hard is it to code in something that will allow the tag to work regardless of whether I typed it in upper or lower case?

Yeah, for some cockamamie reason, this is intended.

I am not going to search through random pages just to find that information. I apologize for the mistake as I was directed by an actual member of the Beta on what really is going on with that which is that Nara has it like this and at the moment does not plan to change it.

Regardless, I should have locked this anyways because we already have a thread for bugs you experience with the new forum here.
