Basically what Cheese said, there's always going to be someone putting inappropriate things with this.

Uhm.. who cares if anything inappropriate is put? You see it in the normal chat all the time, so what difference would it make on profiles? Besides, if you don't want to be around inappropriate language you shouldn't play this game, as it is in the terms of use. Not to mention that some tribes have an inappropriate name so you can already see that on profiles.

That's actually really foolish. People are not robots behind the computer screen; what if someone was racist and put "You all are niggas" or something like that? Remember that there are people as young as 8 playing this game.

They would abuse this to no extent. It isn't about cussing, it's about offensive things.

I feel that this is similar enough to the Profile Biography suggestion previously made, which'd allow you to have customisable text on your ingame profile. You're more than welcome to post your support for this kind of feature in that thread.
