permanently getting "No cheese for you ^_^" message when going into the hole

Well hey, i got this issue going on since the new update. I'm just unable to get any cheese. We're playing on the same internet connection with my boyfriend, but our ip adresses are different. So i can't even guess what's wrong. He can get cheese, but i'm perfectly unable to. Please, i would appreciate some help! Thank you.

Calm down. Bugs forum isn't very active, and admittedly nobody knows the resolution save for relogging and trying again. But do rest assured this is an issue.

I just decided to try it again, but it's still going on.

Did you enter the hole within five seconds? There is now a five second rule to prevent hackers and free cheese maps.

whoa, some news. sometimes, actually very very rarely i do get cheese. like... 1 time out of 20.
Lordfuzzy i always go in after at least 30 or more seconds.
also another thing happened, i was shaman, had cheese then teleported to the hole, while all the mice were still alive. then the same message, "no cheese for you" and bubbles around where i was.
seriously, what is this :C

I'm not sure if it has anything to do with it but I think you & your boyfriend actually do have the same IP address. Your local, home IP addresses differ, maybe yours is 192.168.1.4 and his 192.168.1.5 but if you go to google and search "what is my ip" both you and your boyfriend will get your global IP address which is the IP address of your router that your computer uses to connect to the internet. If you both use the same router you will have the same IP address for transformice.

Same thing has been happening to me, but no idea what triggers it. By the way, as soon as it happens, I get disconnected within a minute.
