Ok before I message anything about this topic I would like to say I am not looking for hate or to offend the brilliant Admins who make the events. It's just my opinion, feel free to leave feedback, don't give me hate because of an opinion, I know how people on the internet hate opinions. This has probably been discussed before, but I want to make my own version of it... Ok, I like the concept of these events but there's something that takes the whole meaning away of the events I LOVED events for collecting rare items, do you know how awesome it was to be the only one in a room having a cat hat in 2012?! Having to save up cheese during each event sucks, I been trying to save up for fur but having to buy event items instead, as I'm a collector for items Why aren't items a collectible in Events anymore? :( Titles are cool, but I don't stress about them, they're so easy to obtain, and items.. don't get me started on the items you can collect, they ruin and troll so many maps It's annoying :I 80% mice die from a ball because they rush, bye saves. BADGES ARE AWESOME The Length of events is ridiculous, I believe this years fishing event lasted from July to September? Who needs 2 months to complete an event... Especially with the trading option there. Why is Halloween dragging into the Christmas event period? I was really hoping for the giving and receiving event along with the advent calender event from 2012, which was let me say.. The best event I ever seen. Long story short, I miss the way events used to be, no one really communicates, they just spam rooms asking for trades, and don't get me started on 1929823 mice coming and going in each vanilla room, which lags me like crazy, I don't enjoy events anymore, if anything it makes me want to take a long break until it's over, I complete these events within a week and most people take about 3 days, events used to be fun, now it's all about who gets everything first and idk how to explain it. This is just my opinion, don't hate, just discuss... |

The Halloween Event is being taken down soon or so I heard. I think it is good it lasted this long because there is a BUNCH of different event maps and with the people getting <<Vampire Slayer>>, it will take even more time to accomplish. I personally do not like the events because I do not go after titles or items or badges but other people do. Event Holidays are one of the busiest days on TFM because there are people that only go on for events. It comes with the territory of making event maps predictable but when there is a bunch of different event maps in rotation, who would not want to try to increase the probability of getting the map they need for a title or something? And yes, the consumable items are irritants for lots but trolling is not breaking any specific rules so what can we do? Nothing but moving on. Dernière modification le 1417630020000 |

Bare in mind, not everyone has the time to complete an event within 3-7 days.. We all have our own life to live and work to be done irl. I know it's annoying having to play an event map when you've completed it but there's no harm playing it again either. Also, if events were to last for 1-2 weeks, we won't have enough time to figure out enigmas. Even the Halloween event took us more than 1 month.. But yeah, it does get annoying when people start spamming the chat for their own needs. |

I really miss the old events, they were so much better than the events we've right now. I do want to earn the titles, but earning the items were so much better. Honestly, I have to agree with what you said about when people spam for trades and stuff. It does get really annoying... |

I agree. Events this year have been outright obnoxious. Some of them have been extremely grindy and hard to complete in a reasonable time without annoying spreadsheet farming and room hopping. That together with simply unfun events and no earnable shop items makes for a really bad trend which I hope won't be continued next year. And yea, useable items and trading have been the worst addition to transformice. |

lazaar a dit : If an event has only a few playable maps or even one, people will still complain about it being boring, there is no middle ground without complaining. I am sure you can also get muted for trade requests under spam, but that has been inconsistent. Since LUA modules are being added to events though, I suppose you can start suggesting and tossing ideas at the wall on what you wish to see. Dernière modification le 1417633560000 |

Events have become ridiculously grindy and time-consuming. The Halloween event is probably impossible to complete for many casual players who have maybe one hour per day to play Transformice, and who don't go room-hopping or use spreadsheets etc. Especially the Vampire Slayer and Von Drekkemaus titles, since one has to go through so many maps in a particular order to get them. (Good luck getting the map you need in that one hour of play time...) Someone who hasn't done past Halloween events will have to invest a lot of fraises if they want to get all items, as they likely won't be able to buy them with cheese. If I counted right, all Halloween clothes together cost 7350 cheese, and that doesn't even include furs and shaman items. |

dfgdfggdfbv a dit : No one said you have to buy them though. While it is true they are largely inaccessible to budget-mindful folks, Atelier801 needs money and they are capitalizing on everything they can. Ideally, items should have a chance to be won through some means with buying as a last resort option. Instead all we get is consumables that troll everyone. Also, if you are a completionist and working on strict timetables with life, you should not really be chewing yourself out for not completing everything. A game is a game and if you lose, you lose (If you gamble, you should reconsider your choices). You cannot do that in life where consequences are more realistic physically. An event map should be more of a break from typical gameplay with standard rotation maps while being enjoyable. While it may not seem enjoyable at first, you have to consider the lines. If we keep adding more maps, people are gonna complain the event is too big and too "Grindy". If we reduced more maps, people are gonna complain about it being too short and a waste of time. Where to start? If there is anything to be upset about besides the consumables, it is the slot machine maps. You have a good chance of being insta-killed after waiting how long to get your maps? They should have more "You can potentially avoid this trap" instead of "Lulz you die now.". Dernière modification le 1417637460000 |
