Recently I have been given a command to help the in-game moderators watch reported players. I have tried that command a few times on Nekodancer and there is nothing to review, yet once as I check Transformice I have a crap ton of 'hackers' to watch and NONE of which are guilty! Why is everyone reporting people for hacking when they may very well be just better than you? |

I believe you're writing about /tribunal command. This command can be accessed by anyone if they have that certain stats requirements (could someone tell me what those req's are? srsly I can't memorize them x.x) And yes, I literally agree with you. I spend about an hour in Tribunal every few days in the course of a week and all I see is about 20-25 real reports while hundreds are just good or laggy players. It does give you an idea how hard Moderators job is, doesn't it? It seems some people just love to report for no apparent reason, 'cause.. well why not? Dernière modification le 1424808960000 |

I guess some people report players because they're angry that the other player got first. Moderators have a really hard job tbh... |

I Don't know the requirements to the command but in all reality the entire thing is ridiculous. I am a slightly known player in Nekodancer and I report when a lot of people complain or when I feel it's right but on Transformice everyone is reporting for no good reason at all. Tfm has a lot of skilled players and too many of them are being reported for no good reason. |

That's the point of tribunal, you get teleported in a random room of a random server watching a single mouse, it asks explicitly to vote guilty only if you're sure. That guilty is an addictional report on a player and it should help the moderators with faster and more appropriate reports (that cannot be a result of hate of jelousy, since the watched players are anonimous) |

Actually the only reason some players are reported is because of hate and jealousy. A lot of young kids get on these games and as we all know, their favorite excuse for reporting is "hacking" in which all of my veined suspects have been reported for. not one person I have seen yet has been actually guilty of hacking and I don't intend on seeing any real hackers. |

That's why if you're sure they're not hacking you have to press not guilty :) this helps the mods a lot. |

I know what to do if they're not guilty, it's a very simple task watching over someone and deciding if they are guilty or not guilty. The only reason the moderators jobs are hard is because a lot of people are reporting our skilled and experienced players when they are playing fairly. |

Those are not the only reasons. I've recently met someone who for example wanted to report another player for flood, but didn't choose any reason so when he did press "send" it was sent as a report for "Hacking". I also encountered some bugs when I use the report system. It seems when I have already reported someone for example Flood and if I want to report another player again I usually can see a circle on the "Hacking" and "Flood" at same time. But when you press send, it will report as a "Hack". I was confused by this few times, so I'm not surprised if anyone else wouldn't get confused thinking that the reason will be the same unless he/she changes it Dernière modification le 1424867160000 |

That problem is an easy fix, I've encountered that myself and I don't just let it go on to report for hacking.the people I report are flooders and hate speeches or something like that o I change it and change it back. |

I think many people also report for hacking when they suspect someone of hacking, but they are not sure, so they think, better safe than sorry, let the mods discover the truth, etc. |

Barberserk a dit : mods do not always handle these, i've been banned by tribunal a couple of times before its just 1 hour ban for "suspicious activity" cause there are people who open tribunal command and spam guilty |

Reports don't usually work and it comes from a biased-based system. If someone is bothering you please use the /ignore function. |
