Bringing up the Japan Expo items not for the sake of sparking anything, but I think it would be worthwhile to make them available in the shop, given the amount of time it has been since the event.

To further this, as the items are so coveted, they price could easily be increased to a considerable amount higher than the average fraise item would be. I think a lot of players would have incentive to buy these items even at a greater price than they would be used to.

Anyway, this is a topic that comes up again and again, and while I would have initially put it in the discussions thread, it is more at home with item suggestions here. Please make any contributions as to why or why not the Japan Expo items should (not) be available to purchase for fraises in the shop. Thanks.

These special items are usually for the meetings so although I like them, I don't support this one.

They're supposed to be rare for a reason. No.

The Japan Expo items and stuff were meant to be provided to the mice who went to the meeting. I don't see how it would be far if people can just BUY the items with frasies, while the other people who actually WENT to the meeting (some people didn't even live close to the meeting!).

For specifics real quick, the Japan Expo items aren't exclusive to the Expo -- anybody who has met an admin gets them.

may i ask what is this "japan expo"? and is there a link about them?

The idea hasn't caught on.

I'd rather not make them available for purchase because soon one of the only rare things in this game will be early registration dates.

Buying every item you can with fraises costs 1/5 the price of a plane ticket to meet an admin for me. I'm not doing that.

And there are plenty of people, that did not attend the Expo or meet an admin, that got the codes from somebody else, that probably got codes from multiple admins so they could share them with friends.

I remember having just enough cheese to buy that Turkish hat during the Turkish Help Weekend, with the earthquake, but it was made available to everybody else later. No longer rare. And the event items got increasingly less rare as you could unlock them every sequential year, and now not at all because they're available year round.
