http://transformice.wikia.com I'm not sure how many of you were around when the original wiki was still up, but while this wiki has come a long way, it's still lacking in some ways compared to the original. While the wiki does have a handful of repeat contributors (of which the wiki could not do without!), we could greatly use editors knowledgeable in certain areas (map creation, modules, technical stuff, etc), but could equally use some writers to expand on content, clear up pages and make them more understandable, and in general make it helpful. I'm also choosing to post this thread now because of the new event rotation system of having weekly events, which will be increasing the speed of things changing. While many contributors add info / leave comments, it's usually not nearly as speedy as alternative resources, and could use some extra eyes and hands to keep it up-to-date. This wiki is purely a fansite, is not actively monitored, affiliated, or endorsed by Atelier 801, and is not an official Transformice fansite (although the French Wikia is/was, and would also appreciate your help I'm sure). Being an admin on the wiki has no official privileges in the games/forums, and neither does Atelier 801 have any direct power over the wiki. This post is meant to: inform/promote, serve as a place to discuss / ask questions about the wiki, and to some extent field suggestions / concerns. If you have a very specific question feel free to PM me, or if you have a question that's wiki-related, please contact me on the wiki itself. As an aside, this isn't "my" wiki. Although I'm an admin on it, that doesn't make it mine any more than any other wiki on Wikia. I simply wish to emphasis this point as I feel it adds an assumption that the wiki should only be edited under my direct authority (or something). I also should mention that all ads go toward the wiki's host, Wikia, and no contributors (myself included) profit from the wiki. About me My username on the wiki is the same as on here: fewfre. I haven't really played this game for over a year now, but still monitor the wiki daily (among others), and help out when I can, usually on things other editors aren't knowledgeable in, such as adding images and complicated wiki editing stuff. I try my best to stay off peoples' toes, but will often tweak edits while trying to respect the intent of the editor (moving info somewhere more appropriate, cleaning up some wiki source code, rephrasing, etc). I will also try my best to help and answer questions about the wiki (or game if I can), and appreciate a healthy interest (especially if the question is clear and thought out). While you won't see me on the Transformice section of the forums, you may catch me on the Fortoresse or Atelier 801 Discussion threads. I often keep to myself, but when I do talk I can be hard to shut up. Atelier 801 Wiki: not about me, but not really part of this thread. While stuff about Transformice goes on the TFM wiki, irl stuff and things that are consistent across their games, are hosted on on a central wiki devoted to the company itself. While some articles may warrant a page on a specific game's wiki, this gives a central location for information to be stored and to help separate information that doesn't pertain to one specific game, and shared similarities such as certain mechanics. This helps prevent needless duplicate data across wikis, and allows all wiki about Atelier 801 games to reference a "neutral" wiki, rather than all referencing back to the Transformice wiki. I bring this up primarily because it currently lacks in details, is fairly void of info about many topics, and could greatly use information about historical and irl info. While it gets the occasional edits, much of the added info was added by me, and this sadly shows in my lack of knowledge / interest in certain areas. Dernière modification le 1451692920000 |

As someone who was referred to join by someone from these forums, I highly recommend that you join the wiki or contribute to the expansion of it in some way. Our wiki community may be small, but the people are very friendly and are looking to meet more players! We currently have various stubs, but if enough people help us, we could turn half of them into fully-formed, coherent articles. If you're curious about anything, don't hesitate to contact either me, Fewfre, or any of the other wiki contributors. |

Haruhitastic a dit : People are usually fairly decent. We seem to have 1-2 returning trolls who like to vandalize every so often, but if they are blocked, edits are reverted, and people don't feed the troll they go away. I've locked some high-target images / pages, so that should help. Dernière modification le 1451711700000 |
