A Desktop App would be a great new way for Atelier to show news and/or ads. There are also things related to their other games they could add but I will try to keep the suggestions about transformice.

An offline map editor and online wardrobe would be really neat. Chat channels like tribe chat could be accessible as long as the app is running and you are "logged in". Moderators could get extra perks like a mod chat or cafe.

What do you guys think?

I do like this idea, and the offline chat. The only issue being would be the offline chat. Would it be similar to the cafe, or just like a room's chatbox? Some people might not find it necessary due to us already having this.

Yeah, I have seen those links before which is part of how I got the idea. The Atelier App could have uses other than the ones I put down. Like In-game mail/gifts or elections.

Are you talking about another way to connecting to your in-game tribe/ whisper chat completely off the Transformice site? If so, I really like this idea because you happen to miss a lot when you're offline for a few days, this way you could keep up with your tribe and friends.

It also sounds kind of weird to me but if you're able to use the offline feature on your laptop/ PC, then whats the point in not going onto Transformice? I understand it would have the potential to document everything similar to the history logs but I like the idea of maybe connecting the offline chat thing to the forums, which could be accessed via mobile too if you're away.

Yeah. This could potentially be another way to talk tribe members in-game. As for being able to whisper, I am not sure.

You log into Transformice to play Transformice. There could be an offline chat thing on forums, I just think putting the chat on A Desktop App would be better personally. What if someone only likes to play Transformice with their friend and they only way to check to see if they are online is to stay online in-game. If you had an App you could leave that program running and receive notifications when friends/tribe members log on from either the app or online.

Perhaps a newsletter to be sent to players? I tend to forget about the game at times but an email could change it.

Usually all we need to know about the game is on the Transformice's twitter (@Transformice) or as Diamondwings mentioned, the homepage.
