| Hi Mice! I was just playing Transformice as usual when I came up with this idea. I think what TFM is missing is a mode where you have a specific story, and you need to play through it for different rewards.
First, you would need to choose the story you would like to play:
Then, you can choose whether to play with friends or alone:
Multiplayer If you choose to play with friends:
After you choose the friends, they will be sent an invitation to your story, they can choose to come along, or not.
If everyone joined, the story will automatically start in 30 seconds, but you can start it manually by clicking the big "START YOUR STORY" button.
Of course, you would not need to choose 4 friends, and even if you do, you can just start the story with 2 mice. If you're friends are AFK, and decide to join, but you already started the story, they can join and help you with the recent task. Singleplayer If you would like to play alone, just click the "Alone" button, and your story will start in 30 seconds, or you can start it manually.
This is how it would work: You would be teleported to a private room, and noone could enter that (You can always just leave). There will be NPC's, which you'll need to talk to get your tasks and the whole story. The NPC's would have a speech bubble with a '!' above their head. After they told you the story and the task, a small window would appear with the task, and you would need to do it (Example: Collect socks, decorate the cake, fight the anvil monster etc.) For each task completed, you would be rewarded with 1-10 cheese, or even 1 fraise coin. There would also be minitasks, or minigames from other NPCs which are not related to the main story, but you get a bonus reward at the end. If you complete all the tasks given by all the NPC's, you could also get a huge reward at the end (which decreases each time you play the story over and over) This is like a bunch of new events combined, with a story. And they would be permanent, so you could play them over and over. (If this gets accepted, different events (like halloween or christmas) could get an own story which you can only play for a week and then it gets taken out) IF THIS DOESN'T GET ACCEPTED: This idea could be also implemented with only events. Since events get pretty boring after a week or two, they could get a story also. (No, I'm not talking about a backstory, I'm talking about a story which you can play in) Events would be 2 minutes long, and it's up to you how you proceed in the story in that 2 minute mark. After the event ends, your current task would be saved and you continue where you left off at the next event map. Thanks for reading this idea! I have gotten so many supporters in the past few days, that I truly think this could be the next huge update on Transformice. I also don't think it would be drastic in terms of the gameplay mechanics, because you still just need to get something (cheese) and bring it to someone (hole). And to even make some profit (sorry users), a few fraise only stories could be released. Byeee! This is a representation of how I imagine the first story. If this was the first story, it would only take 2 minutes to complete as it is not long. But you will still get the main idea of how I imagine a story. This is a singleplayer representation. If you're in multiplayer, some texts would change, like Charlotte talking to everyone, not just you. Some tasks would be harder to complete, like instead of 1 uniform to get, everyone would need to find a uniform and return it to Charlotte.
With the close button, you can close the Tasks tab, and it'll go to the middle.
To eat something, I created an Eat button, but a new emote could be implemented (which takes away the cheese on your back), or just press the down arrow (S)

Since this is short, and everyone would just play this to gain cheese fast, I came up with the idea, so the second time you're playing this you'll get less rewards. The third time playing, you'll get only 2 cheese and nothing more. And you would get only 1 cheese the other times. Getting cheese for the tasks would also be only possible the first time you play it. For minigames, smaller tasks you will get nothing if you play it more than once! I also imagine this story with way more tasks, but only these pictures took me 3 hours to make. More tasks I wanted to add: Search for Charlotte's wig, get to the bus (Back to School event, the P.E. lesson), buy an apple at the school cafeteria, find your classroom, give the teacher an apple etc. Thanks for reading :) |
