So, before I start on anything, this thread should not be confused with the Tumblr Thread. Now that we got this out of the way, let's talk about Tumblrism. I'm basically making this thread because there's no where else to discuss the ridiculous claims that come out of Tumblr, some of them even claim they're scientific, when they're just pseudo-science.

Tumblrism is just the side of Tumblr that is just embarrassing. Like oh my gosh. It's basically like when a person gets so drenched with that side of Tumblr that things they say no longer make sense. To a point where you no longer know if they are a parody, but rather if they actually mean some of the things they say.

I honestly think some of the stuff that comes out of Tumblr is just the worst, they've managed to make every little thing seem like some kind of a privilege even when it isn't, for example this person thinks being thin is a privilege even though people work to get thin, like, oh my god, this is the kind of stuff I'm talking about when Tumblrism infects people. Basically, if you're not a minority, Tumblr will make you into a villain, or heck even if you are a minority like men for example, Tumblr will still make you into a villain to make people feel better about themselves. Heck even the stuff to be anti-racist, anti-sexist etc ends up being racist and sexist itself somehow. (that's not to discourage those who actually fight racism/sexism though without ironically being racist/sexist themselves, if you're one of those people, good job, keep that stuff up.)

I'd love to discuss some of these things, feel free to give some examples of Tumblrism you've seen. And let's try to keep this thread away from politics and just about the ridiculous stuff that comes out of Tumblr. A lot of ridiculous political movements have spawned from Tumblrism though, but like I said, let's try to stay away from the political side.

There's a ton of memes that come out making fun of this side of Tumblr too, feel free to share any here.

Also; you should censor out the names of the people who say these things that are just sooooo ridiculous. If you don't I don't think people will care, but out of the idea that this person saying these things might wake up some day, please edit out their names in images or whatever.

i remember this one tumblr that said that if you aren't gay you're not supposed to say that word or else it's offensive (something like that) and it was so stupid

and in addition to this comment, i would like to say how stupid tumblr people are with cis people and how they contradict themselves so easily
especially those sjws who preach about not telling anyone to kill themself because it's a terrible thing to say and in the end some of those people end up saying that to a cis person
