Why is it so slow?

Admins are generally busy with other necessities, or their Contact inbox is flooded with plenty of spam.

What could be more important than my easy money e.e jk lol.
I requested an email change so I can change my name with fraises months ago and again recently in case it got lost.

The contact form is so crowded for everyone it seems like a car stuck in traffic and needs some time they out of the traffic. Patience is very important when you want to use the contact form. However if you sent a contact form for over 2 weeks by now. You could try & ask a moderator to point out your form so streaxx can help you out you.

Assuming you filled out the contact form completely (use the help button for a checklist per category), you're supposed to get a reaction within two work weeks. However, in practice this doesn't always happen due to a wide variety of causes, of which some were already mentioned. Another common cause of confusion is admin replies landing in spam boxes. So please check your spam folder before continuing.

Anyhow, your best bet is to contact any moderator or sentinel privately and explain that you've been waiting for a reply. They can personally reach the admins so that they look for your message. That typically gets the job done.
