I'm getting a lot of lag/my game is running slowly, is this a bug?
Lag is caused by a lot of different factors so it can be hard at times to pinpoint what exactly causes it. In a nutshell the two reasons why you can be experiencing lag are a weak connection to the server and a slow computer.

A weak connection could be at any point along the line of an internet connection; your ISP speed, your network speed or your location. There's normally very little you can do to improve this that doesn't invovle spending a lot of money or taking a lot of effort to do, but you can check your speed by using Speedtest. There's no right or wrong result, but a lower ping and higher download rate is what you want.

A slow computer is also caused by a few different things; your computers age, how powerful your computer is and other tasks your computer is running simultaneously with TFM. Transformice doesn't require a fancy computer to run, but older computers and ones with slower running processors and graphics, lower amounts of RAM etc. may run a bit slowly. To minimise the amount of lag or how slow the game is running, try limiting the amount of other programs you're running at the same time (Like Facebook, Itunes, Skype etc) and keep your computer in the best condition you can by cleaning out unwanted programs/files, Defragging your computer regularly and running a firewall at all times.
