I tend to use gj as a sarcastic way to show that yes, I saw you miss that easy jump. It's always meant in good fun though, and I don't usually see people upset by it. I could understand why it'd be aggravating if it was done passive-aggressively though.

I've only seen ty as a sincere thanks. Not sure why anyone would be mad about that.

I don't hate it. It's just annoying when it's spammed a lot.

I do it but only because if I don't like some of my friends take it the wrong way, heck it annoys me and having to keep typing that out is annoying too and when I see people doing that I just think, oh they are pathetic

I don't mind people who say it, since I used to say that back when I had people to play with. But I wouldn't spam in caps "GJGJ GJ GURL/BOI <3333"
And it's kinda unfair too especially at times where the shaman just saves a few mice/favo mice and things like that.

I don't spam "GJGjGJGJ PROO <333" and "TY PROEST <3333" because it's annoying af
I don't like people who do that either, especially if they do it EVERY SINGLE TIME.

However, I do use "ty" sometimes, but only if the shaman helps me with something or a soulmate on the soulmate maps willingly gives me a first. I never use "gj" though.

I have to agree with this.

i agree with the ones who think spamming it, is just annoying, i say gj only when i see that someone gets a nice first and they deserve the goodjob, just simple firsts, no.

I only really say "gj" if I got second or third and I was pretty close to getting first. I see it as a way of saying "Good job, you beat me and I'm not mad at you for stealing my first"
