Hey! *NOTE! Most characters in this will be in an academy for special mice with powers. Every living thing in this universe has a soul, the source of their power, energy, and life. If a soul is damaged too much, it will break. If a soul breaks, the creature who possesses it will die. In this story, the villain's soul is corrupted. Here are the characters so far! Mine Ref: Name: Akira Nakamura Age: 19 Gender: Female Personality: Akira is kind-hearted and brave. She always wants to fight for what's right and help others. She has great leadership skills and knows how to direct someone for battle. Akira cares about others and does whatever she can to protect her friends. Power/Ability: Nature (plants, vines, flowers, etc.) and seeing other people's souls Backstory*: She was (villain)'s friend before they were corrupted. She was high-ranked in the academy and an excellent fighter. Akira and (villain) went to the academy together. Skills*: Skilled with swords Extra*: Just pretend the thing in Akira's mouth is a sword, not a lightsaber. slams in Ref: Name: Yuki Suzuya Age: 18 Gender: Male Personality: He's... eccentric. Often looked down upon and labeled as "crazy" or even insane. He seems to giggle a lot and hums to absent tunes while listening to the second-hand ticking of a clock like a metronome - tick, tock. Tick, tock. Spends a lot of time in his dorm, but attends all of his classes. He seems to zone out constantly, but gets perfect scores. People tend to avoid him. Power/Ability: Nobody is quite sure what his ability technically is. Most say it's the power to bring dolls to life, but he's said once that that would simply be far too shallow for him. In reality, his power is to channel his soul energy. He just happens to put it to use making friends. Each of his various dolls hold bits and pieces of his soul. Backstory*: His backstory is, like everything else about him, left to nothing but rumours. He's dropped hints here and there that he's actually from royal lineage but that the name he uses is fake. Nobody knows about his real heritage due to the fact that his voice holds no discernible accent. He tends to have a monotone voice that occasionally wavers in pitch. They say that his dolls' names are hints to his past. The first doll he ever made - and one that he tends to have with him at all times, whether it be in his bag or his pocket - is named Catherine. Rumours fly around that, due to the resemblance to him, it's actually not possessed by a piece of his soul, but his sister's entire soul. His other dolls' names are Arthur, Allistor, Kou, and Uhyou. The first two are suspected to be relatives of his, or people from his past, but nobody is sure about the other two. Skills*: He's an excellent fighter, but nobody is quite sure as to why. His punches and kicks seem to hold more power than punches and kicks usually should, and he weaves around others like a snake. He's undeniably quick on his feet for someone who doesn't seem to move around the campus much. His footsteps are as light as a feather. Extra*: Likes to stand by the windows outside his dormroom and watch the rain or thunderstorms when they happen. He's always in cozy-looking clothing no matter the weather, and rumours say that his touch is ice-cold. Sometimes shows up in the middle of the halls at school in the middle of the night -- nobody is quite sure why. There are many rumours revolving around him, and none of them are too kind. Most of them revolve around his practice of giving life to dolls and his general creepiness. His body is lined with red-threaded stitches. Dernière modification le 1527732420000 |

couldn't think of a villain character so have this person instead *Please note that her actual eye color is dark red instead of being blue like they are in the TFM render.* Name: Ayumi I mean it's literally my mouse render but slightly different so haaaahhhh Age: 17 Gender: Female Personality:
Power/Ability: She can detect whether or not someone is using their powers at the current point of time (even so, it's just more of a vague notion that says "Hey, someone's using their powers right now," rather than "This person is using [this power] right now.") Backstory: Ayumi is said to be from a middle-class family and used to be way more energetic and emotional compared to how she is now. As a younger student, she got used to usually being one of the best students in her class and started to develop perfectionistic tendencies over time. That, along with being alone most of the time (she had some friendships with others in her past, but they all ended up fading away) led to her being more like she is today. Skills: Ayumi is extremely talented in most regular school curricula, but tends to be mediocre in other subjects that aren't usually taught in schools. She is said to also be a speedy yet decent fighter who prefers to out-range her opponents with whatever's accessible to her at that moment. Extra: While Ayumi still stays in school just to show off / hone her abilities, she mostly stays in it in hope that she will eventually find her true best friend there. Also, when she tends to act more emotional, she acts rather mature for her age and is very blunt / expressive about her opinions on current matters. If you press the black button that's on her round amulet, it opens up and contains Ayumi's most precious possession: a translucent green bird with strange red markings on its head. When nobody is paying attention to her, she usually takes it out and talks to it in a low voice. If you ever manage to see her doing that and ask her about it, she claims that that bird is the source of her strength and is her motivation to get stronger in life. e: If you need help with how she would talk, try looking at Weiss'(s) dialogue in her story mode in Arcana Heart 3, especially during the ending cutscene. It should be something similar to that, but if it isn't then that's okay, too. That's just how I imagine her talking, that's all. e: just edited a few things, mostly how she would talk (her speech pattern, if you can call it that) in the "Extras" section Dernière modification le 1527842040000 |

Let's have a villain! Ref: Name: Seerex Age: 22 Gender: Male Personality: Cold, but is hot-headed when angered and is unpredictable Power/Ability: Ability to control electricity/lightning. Backstory*: In the beginning he wasn't a villain. But he had those anger issues. Unfortunately, Seerex needed glasses because his vision was bad. The other people shamelessly insulted him because he was different from everyone else. Seerex couldn't withstand it anymore and got angry. He instantly incinerated two nasty mice. He found out that he likes feeling of destroying things so he started to kill mice which he didn't like. Skills*: Can throw lightning balls. |

Nice, kind of want to put Jareth, but unsure lmao. I do have other characters too, hmmm... *thinks* Sorry for the length of this... Ref: Name: Jackson Age: 17 Gender: male Personality: Smart, kind, doesn't get angry easily (it will l takes months of bullying to finally make him lash out, in other words), and nerdy. He's a hands on learner, and excels in math, science, and even English classes, which is surprising to a lot of people. He likes Art, wood shop, which is hands on, but hates gym class with a vengeance even if he's good at it. Quick on his feet, and fast, the gym teacher sometimes asks him to be on a track team, but he doesn't want to. Power/Ability: transfiguration into anything he has seen before. Includes power of creature/plant/ other Backstory*: Since he was a kid, he watched and read different things. From Pokémon, Doctor Who, and other sci-fi adventure shows and movies, he's also read the same genre of books and comics. He likes to mold clay, draw, fold origami, carpentry, and even writes his own OCs and stories, putting them in comics he made or in a basic story format. He didn't know he had a power until he accidentally became a Pokémon- a Charizard- in his foster home. Skills*: Extra*: he was adopted when his parents were killed in a car accident. Ok, so I'm going to have a little "contest". You can enter a character here to be the main villain - the one who is corrupted. Note! This character is only evil because they were corrupted by a sort of evil. I'll use the most creative character or the character that fits how I'm thinking of making the story go. Be creative with your "entry"! |

challenge accepted Ref: Name: Ayame Dahmer Age: 19 Gender: Female Personality: Though formerly similarly kindhearted to Akira, her personality has been warped since the incident with the crystal, or at least on the outside. She appears cruel-hearted and tyrannical to a point, greedy and wanting only destruction. On the inside, however, a piece of her lingers - tormented by the corrupted power that she can't control - her true soul. Power/Ability: She manipulates the shadows themselves; she can warp them into illusions or use them to hide herself or even locate other mice. At night is when she's the strongest, and she loves to stare at the moon and stars when she isn't plotting her next move. Backstory*: Akira was her closest friend before she was corrupted. In the academy, she was known as intelligent and cunning, and excellent at fighting even with her unique ability, as shadow abilities are rare and usually only appear in dark-hearted mice. She was formerly kind and went out of her way to help others, but vanished the day that she and Akira found the black crystal. She took to seclusion in the forest, slinking around in the shade of the trees and the alleys of nearby towns and cities in search of dark-hearted mice to use. Skills*: She's skilled with fighting, but prefers to make others do it for her so that way she isn't found quickly. She's an excellent strategist and terrifyingly clever, as well as agile. Extra*: She doesn't want Akira specifically to get close to her for fear that the power she's unable to control will want to hurt her - she doesn't want to accidentally kill her best friend. Her wings used to be white, but their colour grew muddled the more she obsessed over the crystal that she'd found and taken. She refuses to leave it and instead wears it on her person at all times. |

I don't want my character to be evil, though he can be friends with the main character. (Or the new student...) Ayumiouo a dit : Weiss from RWBY? (I read a Pokémon/RWBY FanFiction a little bit ago, is why I ask :) Can I put a younger Jareth in? He would have the alias 'Jared', though. It will be a timey-wimey thing. Older Jareth (Trapped, and beyond) will be around in this timeline, but younger Jareth (before Trapped) went to school. He (older Jareth) was placed in ancient times and continued living, and is very far away from his younger past self in this point in time. His younger self isn't immortal yet, for events haven't come to pass yet. (Time is confusing when time travel is concerned, wow...) Jareth/Jared Ref: Name: Jared Kincaid, alias. True name Jareth Athánatos. Age: 16 Gender: male Personality: kind to a fault, he is kind to everyone. Though he will run laps around bullies intellectually, he tends to not show how smart he is. He likes to read, fiction books mainly, and will spend most of his time in either the library or in the schools outdoor campus when not in class. Though he has a temporal ability, he doesn't like to use it, and has trained himself to be agile, and very skilled at defensive and offensive fighting. Power/ability: can slow/stop time, though he can also warp time around himself to go from one place to another. He tends to not use it. Background: He tends to be a loner, goes to after school activities like chess club, and he tends to be mellow. He meditates every morning and every evening before/after he goes to classes, waking up/going to bed extremely early to do so. He tends not to talk much. He makes few friends, and doesn't like talking about his past very much, though he may hint at certain things, like he's had better/worse entertainment/food/clothing/treatment. Very few know his real name, and he is known as Jared Kincaid to practically everyone. Skills: skilled fighter, agile, intelligent, stubborn. He will stand up for people being bullied, outsmarting them and leaving them quite confused. Extra: For him, in this timeline, is well before Trapped. Before the event that made him immortal. tbh I couldn't best Bas'(s) character so I didn't even make an attempt for a main villain @bast Nope, Weiss from the Arcana Heart series (a fighting game)... totally different characters (or not if RWBY Weiss acts the same as AH Weiss.) Sorry for not making that clear. Also I haven't seen a single episode of RWBY, let alone know any characters except for the main four because I have a poster of them in my room for no reason I've always wanted to watch it though, but I never really found a chance to actually do so. Chapter 1 --Flashback-- The spring evening was peaceful and nice, with the light tweeting of birdsong accompanying newly-bloomed flowers and the light rustle of the trees' foliage in the faint breeze. Akira and Ayame trotted lightly through a forest, chatting and enjoying one another's company. As they came across a small clearing, they mutually decided that it would be a nice place to rest. The two sat beside a tree in the cool shade, deciding to relax and observe the forestry. Not too far away, a distant glow caught Akira's attention. "Hey, Ayame! Check this out!" Akira beckoned to her friend, nudging her arm. The pale-furred mouse followed her to a small tree, which was the odd glowing's origin. There sat a small violet crystal. "Wow..." Ayame, awestruck, sounded almost breathless. "It looks valuable!" Akira stared at the gem for a few seconds. Something about it was unnerving her, giving her a shaky feeling of unease. Before she could act on said feeling, Ayame snatched up the crystal. "Wait--" Akira started, but she was interrupted by an abrupt flash of light. After the sudden burst faded, a dark purple-black mist seemed to emit from the crystal. Akira stepped back a few feet, but her friend stayed in place. The mist ominously swirled about Ayame for several seconds, then seemed to vanish. The two were silent for a good minute. Suddenly, Ayame grabbed the crystal, holding it close and sprinting away before Akira could stop her. "Ayame! Ayame, where are you going?!" Akira called out before starting after her friend, breaking into a sprint to keep up with her pale-furred friend. She closed her eyes for a moment before opening them again, activating her ability to see Ayame's soul. The soft-pink light had a black crack zigzagging over its surface, but it didn't seem damaged at all. Could this be the crystal's doing? Akira thought fretfully, keeping her eyes trained on her friend in the distance. Ayame, clever as she always was, turned sharply past several trees and corners, zigzagging around the scenery with Akira on her tail before her friend was finally too wound to keep track of her anymore and she vanished into the depths of the lush forestry. Akira leaned against a tree to catch her breath and, after a few minutes of nothing but heaving pants, she grew a sturdy vine and clambered over the trees. Shaken and defeated, she began to make her way back to the academy. Little did she know that something horrible was brewing. |

We now have a principal for the academy. Ref: Name: Kenji Fujita Age: 26 Gender: Male Personality: Kenji is a smart man who is somewhat mysterious. He keeps many things hidden about himself that only close friends know about. He intimidates people by showing his sharp teeth. Despite seeming cold and merciless, he's a nice person. People are usually scared of his powers or his place as the principal. There are rumors that he has killed innocent people before, which are all false. He would never hurt or kill an innocent soul. He jokes about the rumors to the teachers at the academy and uses the rumors to scare the students into behaving, which works. Now students are too scared to get in trouble so they don't go to the principal's office. Power/Ability: Dragon Kenji has dragon-like features including wings, horns, and a tail. He can fly and breathe fire. Backstory*: Kenji Fujita used to be a student at the academy. The academy's former principal was leaving her job as the principal, and she needed to pick a trustworthy student that would be perfect for the job as a principal. The former principal chose Kenji, who excelled in many classes and physical tests. Kenji eagerly accepted the opportunity and was put into training after graduating the academy. sry for taking so long Chapter 2 The day after the incident with Ayumi, Akira entered the main office with a lingering feeling of dread and her heart weighing her chest like a stone. Her thoughts lingered on her friend as she gained permission from the secretary after a brief and haggard explanation of "it's extremely important and the principal should hear about it before anyone else" and made her way down the main office's hallway to the door that marked the principal's office. She normally despised entering the room, as it always left her with a lingering sense that she'd done something wrong even when she hadn't, but she deemed this incident urgent enough to warrant an unannounced visit. Nevertheless, she knocked on the door lightly with her paw, and after a brief "come in" from the man beyond the door, she entered the room. Behind the large mahogany desk, the principal was seated. He was a tall, imposing man with sharp golden eyes that seemed calculating and focused on whatever task he was currently working on. Akira wasn't intimidated, however - she knew that the man underneath the cold exterior was a warmhearted one. A golden plaque on the desk proudly presented the name emblazoned upon it - "Kenji Fujita", in a nicely practical-but-showy font. "E-Excuse me." The principal raised his head at Akira's faint voice. His eyes - though sharp and intimidating - held endless patience. "What do you need, Miss Nakamura?" Once again, the principal amazed Akira with the strange kindness that lay underneath his cold exterior. His voice's tone was stern, but that sternness was layered on top of kind patience. "It's-" Akira's voice choked. She didn't realize just how distressed she really was about this. "It's Ayame, she- We were in the forest yesterday. We found some odd crystal and she- She picked it up, and some weird mist- smoke? - it surrounded her and she just... suddenly ran away." Behind her eyes, the pinkette could see flashes of the events from the day before, reliving the scenes in her mind. Kenji was silent for a long moment. Akira could tell he was pondering what to do. After another moment of silence and Akira awkwardly standing in front of his desk, the principal calmly told Akira that he'd make an announcement over the intercom. Akira thanked him gratefully and dismissed herself from his office with a soft sigh of relief. That afternoon during the second-to-last school period, the tone that signified that someone picked up the office's microphone chimed through the speakers located throughout the school. Akira smiled absently to herself as she heard Kenji's voice declare that there was to be an impromptu critical meeting in the gymnasium and that it was an urgent matter. The students filed from their rooms to the largest room in the school (next to the cafeteria, naturally) and were orderly directed to the bleachers, to which they situated themselves with friends and classmates alike. After confirming that everyone had arrived and checking the microphone in his paws, the principal spoke up, standing in the center of the gym so that he could appropriately be the center of everyone's attention. "I have called you all here for an extremely important meeting." Murmurs of worry and confusion broke out, and the crowd of students looked between one another. Even the jocks and bullies seemed unnerved. What would their terrifying principal find so worrying that he calls an impromptu meeting without warning? "A student has gone missing, and it is urgent business that we find her." The murmurs grew in volume, just slightly. "Her name is Ayame Dahmer." Akira comforted her and Ayame's dear friends as a few began to cry unexpectedly. She understood how they felt - it was unlike Ayame to run off, especially from Akira herself. The two had been best friends, after all! She couldn't help but wonder what Ayame had been thinking at that moment. "She suddenly ran off when with a friend in the forest near the school. This friend states that her behavior may have been caused by a purple crystal that they found in the forest." The hushed whispers and mutters turned from worried to downright distressed. Akira continued to comfort her crying friends, silently pitying them as the makeup on their face began to run. "I advise you to stay away from strange crystals or anything of the sort that you can't identify. Similar events to this incident may occur, and I don't want any more of my students to go missing." Kenji then gestured for Akira to come to the center of the gymnasium from her seat on the frontmost bleacher. She complied, standing up with ease and letting another classmate gently comfort the other distraught girls. "Would anyone like to help Akira find Ayame or try to figure out what is going on with these odd crystals?" Akira scanned the room, carefully watching the students glance between one another and whisper so quietly that she couldn't hear. She could almost sense their fear as it radiated off of the crowd in large waves. A blue-furred mouse with crimson eyes stood up, which Akira recognized as Ayumi. "I will not allow anybody to go missing," The familiar girl stated. She looked to Akira. "I will assist you with finding your friend and returning her back to her normal state." Akira felt relief rush through her like a wave. She needed as many people as possible to help her - she was secretly glad that someone was willing. It meant she wouldn't be alone. An odd hooded mouse followed the blue-furred mouse's actions shortly after. His pale fur was marked with odd red markings - were they stitches? - that almost matched the color of his wide crimson-pink eyes. Akira recognized him - she'd heard of him before. This mysterious mouse's name was Yuki, although she'd heard from rumors that it was an alias. Nobody really knew anything about him, and most preferred not to so much as be in the same room as him. "I think it would be... interesting..." He giggled slightly. It was only a little unnerving and seemed to be caused by amusement rather than anything else as the pale-furred mouse's crimson eyes glanced over the people staring at him. "...to observe the crystal's effects on life forms... I'll join you, Nakamura." He punctuated his declaration with a cheery grin. Akira tried to put aside the fact that people often thought he was strange or even insane. If more people were willing to help her, she wasn't going to argue. So long as they didn't have plans to stab the team in the back or anything, that is. An orange-furred mouse whose fur was striped with black stood up after Yuki. Akira recognized him as Jackson. From what she could recall, he was an excellent student with a surprisingly strong sense of patience, who could polymorph into anything he'd seen before. "I'll try to help as much as I can." He declared firmly, his orange eyes shining like topaz jewels. "I don't want other students to be scared." Other students began to follow in their footsteps, standing up and volunteering, one of which was a dark-furred mouse donning a mask. Akira had to hide her shiver of relief. I'm so glad people will help me find Ayame... The principal smiled, visibly encouraged by the sight of his brave students. "This is great, thank you all." He began, adjusting his bowtie. "I implore you all, though, to be careful. The crystals most likely react to touch, so use something else to take hold of them if you come across any of them." The meeting came to an end, and Akira smiled to herself, clenching her fists at her sides. We're coming, Ayame. Just you wait. Just you wait... |
