Revert your new username back to your old #0000 tag |

The new username update can use some fixes. There should be an OPTION to disable tags everywhere or show tags everywhere and the only exception to this would be a user's profile. You also should be able to pay a certain amount of cheese or fraisies to revert back to your old #0000 tag, in the event that you regret your new username choice. I also think name changes shouldn't be given out for free, as it is unfair for people who previously paid for a name change and giving changes out for free results in people not thinking too hardly about what they change their name to. Also, Transformice sort of failed at making the name system like the discord name system. They have the same element, but in discord, usernames can be changed/made with no character restrictions, as many times as you want, so usernames aren't really a solid identity in discord, while in Transformice, usernames are more permanent. To be honest, #0000 tags might as well just be changed to a random number so that everyone has a tag and everyone is equal. I personally dislike the balance between the discord naming system and the Transformice naming system, share your ideas here! Edit: I also think new accounts should have #0000 tags if the username wasn't taken by anyone else Dernière modification le 1531248240000 |

/No Support There is an option in settings to "Always include the 'hashtags' in nicknames," which you can toggle on or off to show tags in chat and such, as for turning it off, your tag only remains on your profile. Whispers will always include their tag, you could be talking to a person of the same user. When two users have the same exact username and are in a room together, their tags automatically show up so you can tell them apart. I don't support the changing back to a #0000, you took your free name change and/or paid the price to change your username, it's your fault for selecting a name you'd regret, if you want to change back to your old username, pay the price once more and revert it back, you chose to rid of your #0000 after that, it's too late and many other users might have your same name as well. The tag system, in my opinion, is fine the way it is. Regarding the idea that you think Luigi836 a dit : I disagree, as users who paid the price to change their username are still original and have the #0000, if they were to not have paid and and took the free name change, they don't get to keep that #0000, so I am grateful for that. Yes, Atelier based the username system like Discord, but that doesn't mean they intended to do it EXACTLY like Discord had in the set up. Everyone has a #number and there is nothing wrong with anyone's tags whatsoever. I honestly don't understand why everyone has to complain about these tags when they're absolutely harmless. New accounts are NOT original, as they can make the same name as ANYONE else now, therefore they do NOT deserve the #0000 tag, even if the username isn't taken. It's just a #0000 anyway, people are already upset with it and want to get rid of it as it is. It shouldn't matter what your tag is, as long as you are happy with your username. Anyone can make the same username as anyone else now, the original will be #0000, take it or leave it. If we allowed users to revert their username back, it would also defeat the purpose of the whole name change system. Dernière modification le 1531291560000 |

Luigi836 a dit : I agree with this part since I prefer my old username and I payed to change it before the update came. I don't think it's gonna change anytime soon though. |

Alfiecakes a dit : I actually agree with this! Although, I think the actual aesthetic looks of the tags could be better. |
