Greetings fellow mice, Ever dreamt of your fur creation being added in the shop? While there is a suggestion thread for these kind of things, why not compete with others and climb to the top with your creation? This years competition has the potential to be the last one of such, that is hosted by me. In honor of that, there are a few extra surprises in this years contest which you will be able see in the next few tabs. From last years contest, the winning furs and the runner up furs as well as some honourable mention furs were added to the shop. The very dedicated and talented, admin, Melibellule, has continuously given me a helping hand to make these fur contests possible, she will be voting as well as giving out the prizes to the winners. Mouse template In order to participate, you need to have a mouse template. If you can't make one yourself, feel free to use the one in the spoiler; to save it right-click & save as... or save. You can use a template that is made by you, but it will not give you an advantage in the competition as you will mainly be judged by the overall design & idea, not the overall quality or different poses. Template  Designing the fur You can use any painting/art programs that you use daily, if you would like to try out different ones, here are a few that you can feel free to try out; Paint tool SAI, Photoshop CC/5/6, FireAlpaca, GIMP, Artweaver, Paint or even a paint program online like pixlr.com - which you can also download on your computer. If you are not an expert with digital drawing, you can use a piece of paper and do a fur design on there. Pro tip: You don't need lots and lots of detail to win! Detail is definitely needed, just the right amount! Try different styles of the fur and post the one you think will have a higher chance of winning. It would be nice if the design was PNG/transparent, however, its unnecessary. Posting the fur After you're done designing the fur, now it's time to post it... All it takes is 30 seconds. To save it, go to Micepix & open your fur file. Then your file with a lot of URLs should show up, copy the one with [img][/img] and post it on this thread! Voila! You have posted your fur entry! The competition ends on 16th November 23:59 GMT and results should be announced on 1st December 16:00 GMT.
Forum Related ◈ You can only post comments related to the entries and the contest. Advertising your art gallery/other such creations unrelated to the contest is not allowed. ◈ Entries sent privately to any member of the jury will be rejected. ◈ Follow forum rules, this is a competition, but please carry on respecting the original forum rules. ◈ Do not call out a design that you think is bad, this will be considered offensive and the post will be moderated. Entry Related ◈ Don't cheat/ask anyone else to design the fur for you! ◈ Don't take any furs from websites. Every entry will be checked carefully. ◈ Don't try begging, bribing or otherwise influencing the jury. This will instantly lead to disqualification from the competition. ◈ Don't take any furs from threads such as 'Create your own fur' or from the 'shop suggestions thread' unless you created it yourself and have not used it in the past 3 Create a Fur competitions. ◈ NEW ! Please don't post more than 1 version of the same fur design as it will confuse the jury. By this we mean that don't post the same fur with some colours changed. ◈ NEW ! It would be helpful if you posted your fur entry in a spoiler as some people have potato computers. On the other hand... ◈ You're allowed to create 2 fur entries! The best entry of 2 will be taken into consideration! ◈ You're allowed to create furs related to animals, but make sure they are in mouse forms. Furs that are not in mouse forms will be rejected! ◈ You're able to add clothing onto the fur designs! ◈ You're able to create a badge with the fur, it's not necessary and will not give you any advantages! ◈ NEW ! You're allowed to create 1 consumable entry! If you post all 3 in one post, it would be helpful if you say which is the consumable. If you would like to discuss entries and/or the competition itself, please do so here We hope the competition runs smoothly without any problems!

Since there have been 4 judges every past competition, we'd like to keep it that way this year aswell. The judges will judge the furs in 4 judging phases to narrow entries down from a huge number down to a lower one. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your or someone else's entry, please PM me and I will forward it to the jury members. Every entry will be thoroughly checked, if your entry seems to break any of the rules in the 'Rules' tab, then you will be disqualified immediately. Good luck to everyone participating!
