Due to recent issues with the previous thread and player complaints/requests, the DTMAY thread has now been recreated with redefined rules that include stronger emphasis on drawing the mouse above you. Although most rules remain the same, please read them to find out what has changed.

Don't post unless you're going to draw someone. If you want to discuss something or thank a user for drawing you, do it on their profile, edit your post or private message the user. Posting this kind of message will mess up the drawing rotation and confuse players.

Draw the mouse above you, literally. Don't claim a user five spaces above you. Draw the user directly over your post. If you claim and draw a mouse that isn't directly above your post, you will receive a warning unless it was a genuine mistake.

In order to be drawn you must include a reference to your mouse in your post. Posts that don't include a reference risk being moderated if you don't specify that you will upload something later.

** You must actually attempt to draw the mouse above you. Editing a screenshot does not count. Obvious 30 second scribbles in order to hoard art do not count (yeah, it's obvious) and will be moderated based on the discretion of the forum moderator reviewing the art. It is unfair to provide a player with art that has barely any effort into it, when the other player might have put hours into their drawing for someone else.
We are aware not all players have access to professional paint programs/have tablets, and we do not expect “professional” art from anyone either. It is simply about how much effort gets put into the drawing.

** If you claim a mouse and edit your post with "skip me", please provide a genuine reason as to why you cannot claim the mouse above you anymore. This also causes confusion for future players. If you are noticed as consistently skipping claims without a valid reason, you will be warned.

Please, draw the person you have already claimed before claiming someone else. If you claim a lot of people and accidentally forget someone, that isn't fair to them.

Everyone has a unique art style. Do not attempt to insult/provoke or pick out things you don't like in an artwork made for you. This is a game where people have fun. Don’t be afraid to claim someone and don't doubt your skills, effort is appreciated in all art!
