Create a Fur Competition (#TFM10) - ends 5th April 23:59 GMT

Hello everyone! The same as in 2018, a decision has been made and due to the increased amount of spammy content, it's best if there was a separate thread for any discussions, questions etc. you may have about the contest or other people's entries.

On this thread you are allowed...

◈ To give feedback ONLY if someone has asked for you to give feedback on their entry
◈ To discuss the competition itself, say which entry is your favourite and such
◈ To discuss entries in the previous competitions
◈ To ask questions to the jury/engage with jury members

Please let me remind you that you must continue to follow forum rules as well as the following...

◈ Do not call out an entry for being very badly made
◈ Do not disrespect other peoples opinions

As long as you don't post your entry in Spanish, yes. The competition is open to everyone, not just english native speakers.

Just a thought but perhaps someone should write a very detailed guide on how to upload and post images?

We probably need a global seminar for it... The main contest thread is a real mess right now.

Haha, very funny. :P

I've finished the birthday fur I will submit, more or less. I have not posted it yet but many friends have seen it. I have some advice for creators, please remember the fur will be a few pixels in game, if you add too many small details on your fur they'll be lost, when the fur is game-sized.

Take a screenshot and count? I think the map editor might have that info too. There is also a maximum space around the mouse for items etc, outside that things are not shown.

Some people create furs that already exist in the game, like bullfinch and galaxy furs. Shouldn't there be something about that in the contest rules/info? I don't imagine we'll get a double fur of any kind...

It's because of this rule:
◈ NEW + IMPORTANT ! Unlike in previous year's, this year one entry must be birthday themed whilst the other can be any theme you want.
What is more "Birthday" than birthday cake?

There will likely be double cheese (and XP?) as has happened with other anniversaries.

I was just joking because most furs so far are some type of cake/pastry, don't feel offended please. I like many of them actually. I just wanted to do something different, hence my cheese fur. :)

Well, I am a sent but not a judge, so I have some questions:

Do the birthday fur need to be related to birthdays in general, or they might be something related to Transformice's history?

And there would be any problem to make a fur if someone posts the same idea before? I have a good idea but I'm worried someone might make something similar before I finish it. I have a B plan anyway
