Hiding Everything Past The Game Borders How to hide everything past the 800x400 game borders, so people on fullscreen have no advantage? FIRST STEP: Make a map! Example <C><P /><Z><S /><D /><O /><L /></Z></C> SECOND STEP: Add the Ca="" parameter to the map. Example <C><P Ca="" /><Z><S/><D/><O/><L/></Z></C> In map editor, everything, even past the game borders, will stay, but when you validate it, everything past the game borders is vanished! THIRD OPTIONAL STEP: Use invisible grounds at 210 y -5 x 10 l 400 h 0 angle, 210 y 805 x 10 l 400 h 0 angle, and -5 y 400 x 800 l 10 h 0 angle. Make them have the properties of ice grounds. Since you can't see anything past the game borders, you can use regular ice grounds. If you did the optional step and the needed steps, congrats! No fullscreen user can see outside the game borders, and no one can go offscreen. |

Hi, I don't want to look unpleasant but I don't think it is very useful to make a tutorial for each XML tag, people can already find them all and have a short explanation here On the other hand what you could do is to regroup every tag and only make one big tutorial which would explain every one of them with a little more detail ;) Good luck ! As Alarobzein#0000 mentioned, we do already have a thread that explains this. Thank you for your contributions. |
