[Suggestion] Work together to make a map! |

My suggestion is that you could invite someone to your Map Editor and if the other person accepts, both of you could make grounds, edit the XML, and work together to make a glorious map. This would make making high-perm maps easier. This would be really useful for map-makers which made over 200 maps but not a single high-perm. This also would make people who don't have 1000+ cheese gathered in total and don't have 40+ cheese in the shop make maps. Here's how it works; You go to the Map Editor, then type /inveditor in the chat. A place where you can search for users will appear. You search for who you want to invite to your Map Editor. Then, click the user in which you want to invite to your Map Editor, then click "Invite". The player you invited will get this message; "YourName#xxxx has invited you to his/her Map Editor!" If they press "Accept", you will end up creating a map with them. You can also chat with the other player in the Map Editor. When someone plays the map, they will see all the creator's names on the information bar. Dernière modification le 1590352560000 |

I don't see how a cooperative effort in such a way as this would make map-making any easier or even necessary to be honest as it seems more as a fun gimmick, not something that would be regularly used. I can already share my map with someone else via an XML and we can bounce around ideas by adding and removing obstacles whilst whispering or even via Discord call and/ or screenshare. I don't understand the points you made either, what does having 200 maps without a high-perm have to do with anything, just overwrite an old code? I would also assume that the same preventative measures would have to be implemented for the other person as well given that there could chances for abuse, thus the measure being needed in the first place. I think that this would be cool... only once or twice. I would much rather have the admins update the editor with much more needed features with more potential for longevity. Fun but not needed imo. |
