[Official] #parkour - Information & Updates |

#parkour Info & Updates Map submission topic: Topic-887284 Welcome to the #parkour info & updates thread! #Parkour is a module that was created by Nettoork#0000 in 2019. In February 2020, the ownership was passed onto Tocutoeltuco#0000, and finally in March 2021, Bolodefchoco#0015 is who hosts the module today. The goal of the module is to finish the map following the checkpoints that are represented in the map either with stars or white flags. At the end of the map, you will gain some powers to be able to help other players. In this thread you will be able to find information about the module, its features, staff, and change logs regarding staff and module updates. We will try to announce updates and staff changes here so that players who don't have or use Discord can have access to this information as well. It is still recommended to join the discord server. If you have any further questions about the module, bug reports, or suggestions on how we can improve the module, you can also comment them here. Constructive criticism about module updates and other #parkour-related stuff will be welcome. You can report players that are breaking parkour rules by whispering parkour moderators in-game (!staff) or by sending a message in the #report-players channel on the module's Discord server. Special thanks to: Jaker #9310 Kayliedu #0000 Ori #6575 Thefourthone #0000 Tocutoeltuco #0000 #parkour rules In summary, follow the rules of Transformice. • No hacks, glitches, or bugs are to be used in #parkour rooms. • VPN farming will be considered an exploit and is not allowed. If caught, all the accounts involved will be immediately banned. • If a player does not want help or prefers to solo a map, please leave them alone and try your best to help other players. However, if another player needs help in the same checkpoint as the solo player, you can help them (both). • If you see any player breaking these rules, whisper the parkour mods in-game. If no mods are online, then it is recommended to report it in the #report-players channel on the Discord server. Please mention the server, room name, and username of the person in question. Evidence is appreciated but not necessary. Although Transformice allows the concept of trolling, we will not allow it in parkour. • Trolling is when a player intentionally uses their powers to prevent other players from finishing the map. • Revenge trolling is not a valid reason to troll someone and you will still be punished. • Forcing help onto players who are trying to solo the map and refusing to stop when asked is also considered trolling. If a player is caught trolling, they will be punished on either a time or parkour round basis. Note that repeated trolls will lead to longer punishments and you may get banned by an admin. Frequently Asked Questions Why do some players have different name colors? In parkour, there are different name colors, some of which can be obtained by regular players and some of which cannot. Among the staff, we have 6* different colors: red for Admins, purple for Team Managers, salmon for Moderators, green for Mappers and orange for Translators. Players may get a yellow name when they complete the map, a temporary white name if they complete the parkour map with the shortest time in the room, or a cyan name if they play their own parkour map. Blue is the default color of a normal player who hasn't completed the map. *DISCLAIMER: Some #parkour staff have a name color which doesn’t correspond to their role in the module. However, this does not have any importance and it is more reliable to use !staff to determine their specific staff position(s). How can I become a #parkour staff? (& What languages is the module translated to?) You can apply to be a parkour mod or mapper when the applications for them are open. Applications for both roles might not always open at the same time. When they open, we will notify you all on this thread and on the Parkour Module Discord. As for becoming a Translator, you can contact any staff to see if a translator for your community is needed. We usually don't need more than 1 translator per community. Currently the module is translated to the following languages, and these are the languages that we don't need translators for: English | Romanian | Hungarian | French | Hebrew | Portuguese Spanish | Polish | Chinese | Turkish | Russian | Indonesian DISCLAIMER: The module is already translated to the marked languages but we need new translators for future translations! What is review mode? Review mode is a mode that mappers use to review the maps submitted for parkour. Review mode enables the command !cp in the room and allows the users in it to move freely between checkpoints. Mappers can enable review mode in *#parkour0review rooms and players can enable review mode only in their tribe houses, first using the command /module parkour to activate parkour in the tribe house, then using !review to enable or disable review mode. How can I appeal my *kill/ban? If you think that your powers have been disabled unfairly, or you have been banned unfairly, feel free to message any Parkour Moderator or Blank#3495. *Kill - temporary removal of powers. Why do some rooms have more than 12 mice? (& Why can consumables be used in #parkour rooms?) Some rooms crash and result in the 12 mice limit being broken. When this happens, players are allowed to use consumables. However, if the consumables are being used to troll, this will result in a temporary or permanent ban. Players can ask Transformice or Parkour moderators to reset the room to fix the room limit. A player is insulting me, can you ban them? Parkour Moderators don't have any authority over the chat interface and thus cannot punish players for what they type in the chat. This would have to be reported to a Transformice moderator. How can I contribute to #parkour? You can contribute in many ways: - Improving the code: The whole module (bots included) are open source on github. You can fork the repository and add any feature/bugfix. - Suggesting / Reporting a bug: You can suggest and/or report a bug in this topic, but it is recommended to do it in discord. - Submitting a map: You can create and submit a map to parkour! Check the map submission topic to get more information. - Donating: All donations will go towards improving the module. Click here to donate. What is #parkour0records? #parkour0records is a specialized room where players can make and submit records on #parkour maps! In this room, the timer will not decrease to 20 seconds once everyone completes the map, stats do not count in this room and all powers except for fly, teleport, and speed are disabled. You can create a personal room with #parkour0records Username#xxxx As the owner of the room, you are able to:
If you completed the map in the shortest time, you can use !submit to submit your record. Special thanks toLays#1146, Mckeydown#0000 and their moderators for helping to implement this system. You can get more information about the system on their website (https://tfmrecords.home.kg/) or in their Discord server (discord.gg/w23Gz9f). #parkour staff The Parkour Staff is split into 5 roles: Admins, Team Managers, Moderators, Mappers, and Translators. In #parkour, we do not have an age requirement, but we have other important requirements for each role specifically. If you see a parkour staff member misbehaving or abusing powers, feel free to report it to Blank#3495, and please include evidence. Please note that the parkour staff is not part of the Atelier 801 staff. We don't have any powers in-game - only in #parkour rooms. #parkour roles Admins - Includes the module hoster and developer. They work together to code the module, fix bugs, and maintain and improve the module. Team Managers - The Team Managers manage and inspect the Moderators or the Mappers team (or both) to make sure they do their job properly. Moderators - They enforce the module rules in-game, and they punish rule breakers and trollers if needed. Moderator Applications Status: Closed Mappers - They review the maps submitted for #parkour and decide if they should be accepted or if they need any improvements. They also give their opinions about the maps so that players know how to improve their maps. Mappers Applications Status: Closed Translators - The Translators translate the module into their language. If you would like to translate the module into your own language, if it isn't translated already, you can find the EN translation on Parkour's GitHub. Later you can send it to any of the admins. Note: Translators have a colored nickname in-game and are considered #parkour staff, however they won't appear in the !staff window in-game. #parkour staff members From now on, you will be able to see the staff and versions change logs starting from September 1, 2020

You have been banned from #parkour for 9873 minutes. why? |

I have been checking and we have never banned a player with your name Luanuvddu. Besides, that number of minutes its not one that we use. Possible it must have been a mistake. |

According to the OP, the black nickname is for those who have both the moderator & mapper roles. |

Syrius a dit : Well, that's I was told about the definition of this color earlier. But now it has changed and some staff has their own color, so is black. It has no meaning anymore and I'll edit the post. |

Worst community in this module. Ppl spawing crap in front of ur face to block and nobody moderates even after players are reported. Players should just not have these items since nobody is using them to help out, only block others. Better idea to give these items to players to use themselves after certain number of failures at a checkpoint. Dernière modification le 1641862920000 |
