How to play


• This is a module game based on the principle of Rivals of Aether or Super Smash Bros, so your goal is to defeat all your opponents. All the players starts on the random map with three lives and 0% damage. The more damage you get, the harder it will be to stay alive! After you fell of the map you lose one life and the damage resets. You can use basic attack which cause 5% damage or you can use one of the three special abilities. Each playable character has completely different abilities!
• You can attack by pressing X and use abilities using the C V F keys, but the key bindings can be changed in the settings.

To turn on the game, type /room #rivals in the chat or /room #rivals[any number][your name] to make your own room where you are the room admin.



Playable characters

Dash (Ability 1): Pushes you forward.

Consumables (Ability 2): If you hold the ←, → or ↑ arrows, you throw a ball that bounces away your opponent. If you hold ↓ arrow, you throw tombstone.

Firework (Ability 3): You can throw four different fireworks that will affect all opponents within range depending on which arrow you hold before using the ability. ↓ deals 22 poison damage, ↑ deals 20 damage, → freezes opponents, ← throws away all players.

High Jump (Ability 1): You can jump farther than usual.

Spoiled Cheese (Ability 2): You throw spoiled cheese, which explodes after a while and deals 30 poison damage to all opponents around. Throwing spoiled cheese affects which arrow you hold, it is also possible to bounce the cheese with an attack.

Cheese Lover (Ability 3): Gives cheese to all players around and deals 10 damage. If you hold the ↓ arrow, you will throw the cheese, which will explode after a while and deals 15 damage to all opponent around. If you use the ability again, the cheese will explode immediately.

Rocket scientist (Ability 1): Pushes you up.

Spirit (Ability 2): After two seconds, a spirit appears that deals 30 damage to all players around. If you hold the ↓ arrow, an anti-spirit will appear instead of the normal spirit, which will throw all the players around.

Shield (Ability 3): Protects you from most damage attacks but you can't use the attack. If you hold ↓ arrow, an apple will appear below you, which you can break in the same way. The first spirit used appears on the apple and gives it a power that is released when the apple is broken.

Bonus (Ability 1): Creates a speed bonus around you depending on which side you're looking at. If you hold the ↓ or ↑ arrow, the spring will appear below you or above you.

Death (Ability 2): Depending on which arrow you hold, 3 death bonuses will form around you. Each bonus deals 15 damage. If you take your own bonus, nothing will happen to you. There can be a maximum of 15 of your death bonuses in the arena.

Hyper Speed (Ability 3): Depending on which arrow you hold, around you will form a hyper speed bonus. The bonus throws the opponent at high speed in the direction of his movement. You can't get speed from your own bonus. Freeze is removed after taking. There can always be only one your hyper speed bonus in the arena.

Teleport (Ability 1): Teleports you up.

Life Steal (Ability 2): If you hit your opponent, he gets 15 damage and you heal by 5%.

Rage (Ability 3): For a while you deal 7 damage by attacking to your enemies.

Rock (Ability 1): You shoot a stone that boosts you.

Fire (Ability 2): If you hold the ← or → arrows you will create a fireplace. If an opponent touches this fireplace, he will get 20 fire damage. If you hold the ↑ arrow before the attack, you will wave a fire torch above you, which will cause 10 damage and 6 fire damage to your opponents above you. If you hold the ↓ arrow before attacking, you throw a fireball, which explodes after a while and deals 6 fire damage to all players around. Players can repel a fireball by attacking.

Cobweb (Ability 3): Immobilizes the player in a cobweb, which breaks up after a while and deals 25 damage to all players in it.

Cloud (Ability 1): A cloud will appear around you depending on which arrow you hold.

Gravity Removal (Ability 2): Removes gravity only for you. If you hold the ↓ arrow, it will remove gravity from all players around and deal 15 damage.

Wind (Ability 3): After a while, the wind blows across the width of the map, which causes 25 damage to all players within range and throws them in the direction of the wind. The wind blows to the left or to the right, depending on which side you are facing when using the skill. If you hold the ↓ arrow, you throw a gravity bomb, which explodes after a while and pulls all opponents within range plus deals 10 damage to them.

Leap (Ability 1): You'll jump higher and further than usual.

Lasso (Ability 2): It pulls the nearest opponent to you. If you hold the ↓ arrow, you will be pulled to the nearest opponent. This ability allways deals 2 damage to the opponent.

Strength of leaves (Ability 3): After using this ability, 10 poison damage will be added to your attack. If you hold the ↓ arrow before using the skill, a trap will appear on the ground. If the opponent steps on it, the trap cause 5 damage and immobilizes opponent for a while. If a player steps on his own trap, the trap disappears. You can have a maximum of 3 traps on the map.

Dash (Ability 1): Pushes you forward.

Sadness (Ability 2): After using the ability, anger starts to charge, according to the level of anger, more damage is added to your basic attack for 5 seconds (maximum +15 damage). If you hold the ↓ arrow, you will begin to heal slowly. You can't move while using this skill, even your opponent can't move with you until the emote is full. The skill is effective according to the fullness of the emoticon.

Gardener (Ability 3): You throw different seeds. If you don't hold any arrow, after a while peppers will grow, which cause fire damage to nearby opponents. If you hold the ↓ arrow, after a while blueberries will grow that freeze nearby opponents according to the amount of damage they have. If you hold the ↑ arrow, the seed explodes after a while and throw away nearby opponents. The seeds can be deflected with a normal attack. Plant growth can be accelerated by repeated use of the skill.

• You can post here your ideas for more playable characters, new arena map or you can help with translations! I will mention here if one of these things will be succesfully implemented to the game. In that case you can message me in game to get one of these trophies!

The map must have a trampoline in the middle or two trampolines on the sides with restitution 1.1, all grounds (except trampoline y coordinates) should be aligned to coordinates with a multiple of 5 (for example x = 100, y = 25). Don't add lava or acid. I recommend making simple maps without drawings. I prefer map XML. You can also send name of your map.

The character must be characteristic of the game Transformice or familiar from the events. Every character has the same basic attack. You should mention name of the character and three of its abilities. Each skill can have several ways depending on which arrow (← → ↓ ↑) the player holds before the attack. The first skill must be movement ability.

Okay i have an idea..

I think professor should be a playable character and ill mention what kind of moves they would have:

Magnify (Ability 1): You will be able to use the magnifying glass to burn your opponents with its light, if you hold the ↓ button you will be able to make it bigger, therefore increasing the range and inflicting more damage.

Hinder (Ability 2): You will be able to hinder the players eyesight temporarily if you use either -> or <- button twice for 5 seconds by stabbing them with a pencil. the more you do it, the less the seconds and less damage so use it sparingly.

Stack (Ability 3): Allows you to stack boxes in the form of exam papers, so you will be able to get to higher ground or avoid enemies. Will spawn for only a few seconds.

Heres some ideas:

Use your own mouse (like ur nickname/mouse that u always play as) and u can make your own customized powerups.

Maybe add in Elise Papaille and Buffy idk what their powerups would be

The system recognizes the first connected player as the room admin. He can use a few special commands (for example: !ban !unban !pw).

Bullet - C

Can fire arrows as if they were bullets from shots at a medium speed every 10 seconds after which you can't move for 2 seconds.

Levitation - F

Every 15 seconds the gravity of tfm.exec.setPlayerGravityScale becomes 0.6 and lasts for 5 seconds

Fast Defense - V

It creates a barrier in all differences that when it gets close and thrown away and lasts for 4 seconds and can be executed every 30 seconds, however it cannot be moved in 5 seconds.
