I decided to play Transformice today with a friend of mine on EN2 and I noticed that whenever I'd try to speak I'd be met with a message saying "You're not authorized to speak on this server". After some researching I found forum posts from people having this same issue however they all date back to 2013-2015, saying that people from other countries cannot speak on this server to prevent spam. I made my account in 2015 and have usually been able to speak in EN2 just fine. Although I'm not a native english speaker and I do not live in an english speaking country, I still use english daily as much as I do my native language. The international servers are overcrowded and filled with lots of other languages I do not understand and I have had pretty bad experiences on my own server + most of my friends have pretty much always played on EN2. Is it really this necessary to restrict everyone from playing on other servers? I understand not wanting spam, but to do something at the cost of countless people who simply want to play on another server, perhaps with a friend.. I could think of a few reasons as to why someone wouldn't want to be on their server but I don't think having a reason for this sort of thing is even necessary. There has to be another way to filter out other languages from an english speaking room. Anyone else with this issue? What are your thoughts on it? |

There is a thread about it here in the bugs forum: https://atelier801.com/topic?f=6&t=897190 If you are experiencing this bug, your text will still show up in the chat and others can read it. (Try asking questions in the chat. Do you get replies from others?) Re-logging or changing rooms might fix it. |
