I have 5+ hours played on TFM, have a friend added, and have fraises in my shop but i have no gift button.

You would need to actually play for 30 hours instead of 5, have gathered 700 cheese, bought a fur at least a week ago*, and have validated your e-mail in order to gift. I believe you got this, you are a man :)

There's been some restrictions put on gifting.
In order to gift you need to play TFM for a certain amount of item and you need to buy a fur in the last 7 days with fraises.
There might be other requirements.
