Greetings, Apocalypse Survivors!

No patchnotes for few versions since it's the end of the year, I'll try to sum up what's new !

What's new for this version?

Bug fixes :

  • Two items, the fork and the pitchfork, shared the same name in most languages (Fork). In English the names are correctly changed Pitchfork and Fork. Names in other languages will be changed in later patches.
  • Two clothes used to share the same name (Leather jacket). One of them has been changed to First Aider's Leather Jacket in English. Names in other languages will be changed in later patches.

Sacramento Suburbs in a new light

The map Sacramento Suburbs has been greatly modified. Two annexes has been added to the map which is now two to three times bigger. Its starting point has also changed.

As a consequence of this rework, the quests with Chloe at the beginning of the game and taking place in Sacramento has been partially updated.

The clothing system has been entirely reworked

Clothes and their bonuses were confusing and not really balanced. Hence, the whole system has been reworked.

  • All of the clothes initial bonuses has been removed. Now, they only has a health bonus, scaled on their quality level
  • It's possible to upgrade your clothes by putting Improvement Kits on them. You are able to do that by dragging the kits from your inventory to the slots in your Character Profile
  • The number of available slots on each clothes depends on the cloth'squality. You can upgrade that by using the Sewing workshop
  • There are three different types of Improvement Kit : Protection, Damage and Support.
  • These kits can be obtained by looting containers and by killing infecteds.
  • Clothes can have up to three slots. The slots' types depends on the cloth. A healer's cloth will have more "Support" slot and so on
  • It's impossible to remove a kit from a cloth. However, you can replaced it by putting a new one.
  • Set bonuses will be added later. Equipping all of the items from the same set will give you bonus stats.

A lot of names and visuals are actually placeholder! Also, tooltips will be added later.

Some other new things :

  • Drinking or eating outside a firecamp now costs tiredness.
  • In a firecamp, drinking or eating more than you can will convert a part of the surplus into additionnal tiredness. Tiredness can't exceed 2 times it's initial max value.

And here you go for this patchnote ! And sorry for all the English mistakes ^^'

Update : Beta 0.36

An edit to this post for a small patchnote. This one is focused on fixes about the last patch.

Bug fixes:

  • Clothes : The clothes should now correctly appear when using the Sewing Table.
  • Camp : The items send directly to your camp were appearing in the wrong place. From now, the lootbag should appear right in front of your house’s door.
  • Garden : Several bugs about the garden have been fixed, it should now work properly.
  • Survival : Calculus will now use the real food/drink/tiredness maximum values. This doesn’t cancel the previous modifications allowing you to exceed your tiredness maximum by overeating/overdrinking.

Modifications :

  • Garden : The growing durations of the crops have been reduced.
  • Infecteds : The health of all themed Infecteds (Firefighter, Quaterback…) has been reduced.

Thanks for the hard work! I think the clothing update was the way to go. And thanks for those two name changes :)
