Hello all, for those who are unaware, Dead Maze has an (unofficial) wiki, which already has a good amount of information from a few editors. As Dead Maze is getting closer to being released and more info is being leaked, it'll be harder for only a handful of editors to keep it up-to-date, so we need your help! Please add pages, edit pages, add photos, and anything else you can to help the wiki to make it a resource everyone can use!

This game is changing a lot (it is still ni beta after all!) so expect some info to be out of date / incomplete. Don't be afraid to add info, but don't add to much detail unless your willing for it to be lost.

If someone wants to make a wiki for Dead Maze in their own language that's fine (and I'll probably monitor it and don't mine working with them), but for the most part I don't edit non-English wikis since there are aspects of site management which are very awkward if you don't speak the language (talking with community, uploading images with descriptive names, technical things like templates), figuring out what's spam can be harder, and of course adding any content is bad since I'd be using a translating tool.

If you want to create a wiki, you can either host your own, or use a site to host it for you and deal with technical issues (like Wikia, although there may be better options available, especially if it's not an English wiki).

But you don't have to pay them, just make a staff to maintain the wiki, you know, there's a lot of trolls on wikia

Again, if someone wishes to translate stuff onto a wiki for their language feel free! I'll even help if someone has wiki-related questions (though PM me or ask me on Wikia). But I already maintain 2 decent sized wikis and many small ones, so I really don't want to start ones for languages I don't even speak since that would frustrate me to no end. As I said above I'll gladly coordinate with other language wikis if asked, but don't want to manage / create them. It's also hard enough getting people to actually edit / add stuff on a wiki I do manage for longer than 1-2 months, so trying to continually find translators just isn't something I'm looking to do. But have no issues with others doing so.

Was you that made Transformice wikia too? It's very helpful, continue with your great work.

I'm actually using it, and from there I taken a high quality ground image (wood, etc). :o)

I didn't setup the Transformice wiki, but I "adopted" it (since the original admins became inactive) and am one of the admins on it now. I try to keep it organized / spam free, but most of the important information is added by other editors (since I don't play Transformice much anymore). Edit: Glad you find it helpful!

Now that beta is in full swing, looking to see what people think of the wiki (been adding info on quests and salvaging resources). Is it helpful? Is there anything specific that's missing that you'd like to see?

And feel free to add missing info if you'd like! Just don't spend to much time on details, since who knows what might change.

As soon as you add the story/lore (the artwork pictures and dialogs of the npcs ingame) it will be fine.

Having the wiki in multiple languages would be great, and if someone does make one I'll gladly try to add "language links" when I think of it (so that if people visit the english wiki, they will be prompted to visit the page in their language if it exists).
