First of all, if you have Windows 7 or newer, you can skip this step. If you have Windows Vista or XP then you'll need to download and install this:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=21

Next, you will need to make sure you have the ActiveX version of Flash. The easiest way to test this is to open Internet Explorer (Note: Yes it absolutely has to be Internet Explorer) and copy/paste the url:
http://bouboum.atelier801.com/ChargeurBouboum.swf

If it works in Internet Explorer then the standalone will work. If it's not working, you need to download and install:
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/support/install_flash_player_ax.exe

Finally, you can download and extract the standalone:
http://cheese.formice.com/standalone/BafflerStandalone3_Beta6.zip

Just run the program and click "Play Bouboum" and it should work. The only issue I've seen is it gets stuck on the login screen, the password field says like "$Mot_De_Passe~~". This doesn't happen for me, the game plays fine, but I'll look into it and see if I can fix it. Let me know if you're having that issue.

I just figured out you can make a Pew Pew standalone as well

A friend of mine (Iceoccultism, who has quit TFM 5 months ago) made a standalone for Transformice called wxOccultism, and subsequently, the ActiveX flash control for wxPython (The language that wxOccultism was written in) stopped working, so I was tempted to fix it; after the new release of wxPython, the ActiveX flash control was replaced with another method of embedding flash objects to standalones, which I used in this version of wxOccultism.

Some features in this version are currently broken (since the old flash embedding method is broken and these features can't be done in the current method), such as panning, ping checking, alignments and default zoom.
It also contains bugs (at the moment), like the tab key bug (incapable to switch between chat tabs, etc); however I will release a fix for these bugs in the future.

If Bouboum doesn't load and gets stuck at the login screen.. Here is a solution!

This works for Baffler's new standalone
(1) Right click baffler's standalone.
(2) Click Settings/Options/Propperties. (I have a NL version of windows)
(3) Click on the tab named "compatibility".
(4) Change the compatibility mode to "Windows Server 2008 (Service Pack 3)"
(5) check "Start program as Administrator"
(6) Click OK and start the standalone! :D

p.p.s u can use this method to open extinction.fr or any other flash game in the standalone (assuming you know the link to the associated .swf)
