Moving conversation from Fortoresse screenshots here (as per Bookslover's wise suggestion of a different thread), so as to prevent screenshots from going off-topic, and to highlight this update for anyone who wouldn't think to check there.

They've updated the rooms making en server always available in every other server. I find it helpful that the domination rooms will no longer be so empty.

The international server is only supposed to be open to other players when other servers are too inactive to host quality games. Now they just come into our rooms by default because there are easy kills in EN.

To my knowledge, this isn't true. International is international. just because EN2 is dead, doesn't mean EN1 is now ours, just because it's an "EN" server.

Sorry if double post in inappropriate; it's a response to a comment on the other thread, and I didn't want to clutter up the OP.

Here are the responses from the other thread, if anyone is interested or just too lazy to check.

solfn a dit :
But in exchange, it brings in all the foreign hackers.

Fewfre a dit :
Awesome! I personally love it. Since I play Fortoresse more than tfm on average, I often set my server to EN1 and hate changing it, since on Fort if I change rooms on EN2 it'll have me be in EN2 despite redirecting me to EN1 on login. But now I can be on EN2 again! Yay!

I'm kinda curious how you do this via chat command though (if possible).

Bookslover a dit :
I still think it's a pretty cool idea.

This overpowers the factor of convenience.
There's no point of having tons of rooms with a bunch of hackers in every single one of them.
fairness of the game > convenience

to be on topic with screenshots...

I find this funny. Don't know why.

Fewfre a dit :
Hackers can change server as easily as anyone else though; the average number should go up too much. If there's a lot right now, might just be because the feature is new?

Also, I never see hackers as often as all of you. It's probably because of when I play, or the fact I don't play domination.

Thesnailgary a dit :
Most of the hackers I see are in domination, and every time I go in there is a hacker but now it's starting to die down a little bit but a few days ago I was in a room with 3 hackers at the same time ...... luckily they were just killing each other and were left with 6 hp so it wasn't hard to kill them at all but it wasn't nearly as fun for everyone else(It doesn't change how fun it is for me it's just another challenge to try and beat, not that I can though) :P

The problem is now that hackers, foreigners and undesirables come into our rooms during the USA evening peak times when they should be sitting back at their own servers. Their culture is vastly different from ours (we want to raise our young players the way we want to raise them, without interference from people with different values), and now whenever I go to an EN domination room it's only foreigners. The international server is only supposed to be open to other players when other servers are too inactive to host quality games. Now they just come into our rooms by default because there are easy kills in EN.

It's not racist, I just don't prefer when our rooms are only filled with foreigners. Not only is there really nobody I can interact with because they act so differently, some of them are undesirable and not raised under the EN culture that we can really know how to understand. I know our EN players are honest and almost none of them hack, but the temptation is definitely increased if we have different ways of thinking thrown in. I know for a fact that people really object to other ways of thinking, because I'm an EN player who's pioneered so many skill based techniques for players internationally; and since I've gone to BR I've been labelled all over the world as king of campers (and probably hacker soon) and just thrown away by so many players I helped, even though there are people other than me that seriously abuse conj and just sit in it all day abusing broken mechanics *coughcoughhalfglitchedteleportationuzispam* and know no other tactics. The other day, there was a blatant hacker and then the entire room turned on me because I was a foreigner being accused of hack and they completely ignored the real hacker.

Also this isn't really a screenshot but I had nothing else, I just wanted to spread fun in this game for once.

Bookslover a dit :
I think this issue should just be a topic on its own. I personally don't play domination a lot, but I'm aware of what's happening and I think we should just try to be more open towards people of different communities, especially since ours isn't perfect either. Or perhaps wait it out for a bit and let it settle out. This adjustment was most likely made with good intentions to liven up the three abandoned games of Atelier 801. On the other hand, it's disappointing to know that the immediate result is affecting people's experience with the game.

For screenshots, this was a while back, but I found it quite amusing. I really don't understand a statpadder's mentality.

Also the bootcamp mode would be cool. I like it mess around with that often and it could be incorporated with having the option to create your own map(s).

The proportion of actually EN players has dwindled lately so it probably prompted the need for this update, however the players that only play on EN would consider those rooms their rooms by ownership and this is pretty much a forced update that nobody really wanted, but regardless has its positives and negatives anyway.

I think that's kinda nice, so EN gets kinda of exposed to our reality at BR.

Yes, I used "kinda" way too much.

Yesterday, when there was a lot of people on Fortoresse due to Transformice being offline, I noticed that since the servers were flooded, the EN1 rooms were not showing up on the BR server. I am pretty sure from this that the whole vision of this update was to make EN more full, despite all the drawbacks from it, such as more hackers, etc.
