Random question, but does anyone know if the tfm "framework" that all these games use has an official name? I saw someone say the "Tribulle protocol" in reference to porting bouboum to the current version, but have no clue if this is an "official" term or not.

Well Atelier 801 runs 4 games, and TFM is a priority. While I can't give any exact answers, I'd say it's whenever TFM has a lull in it's busy schedule.
(By that I mean updates.) I'm sure that they would love to put equal work into every game, but seeing as Fortoresse doesn't have a huge community/fanbase, it's not economical for them to do so.

It's possible that the game was under maintenance, the server crashed, or the issue is on your end, meaning your computer wasn't functioning properly. However the game is online and working for me now. Try a different browser, updating your flash player or rebooting your computer.

They also said they updates were coming nonstop so there will never be a lull therefore there will never be an update to Fortoresse

nonstop is a figure of speech. If you look at the tfm Trello, the big things left appear to be skill trees, mobile version, reward system, map explorer, and new standalone, all of which I can imagine taking up a lot of their time. I imagine they will have a bit of a lull in a 2-6 months.

Problem is, things just keep piling up on TFM updates more and more, and some of the updates including little cosmetic upgrades don't even appear on the Trello, meaning there's far more things taking up their time than we imagined.
Furthermore, a lot of the people are disappointed that the skill tree is taking so long, and they hadn't even started gathering the skills together by the time the date they announced for release had rolled over.

Well the skill trees are released, and I suspect a lot of the cosmetic upgrades are related to the Steam release / future mobile version (like the arrow keys for scrolling).

I don't know if anyone has ever thought of this.. And this is probably a stupid question for a guy like me who has played Forto for months but....does Vip stand for Very Important Player or person?

I don't think there's actually a set definition for it. It could be both ways, however the user interprets it anyways. Both ways display the same concept.

I find more often than not it stands for:
Very
Ignorant / Insufferable / Irritating / Idiotic
Person ("Player" would insinuate they might actually be competent in real life).

Little bit of trivia I noticed:

M40 A5's accuracy is no longer perfect. It deviates very slightly (not sure how much but say, 1 degree)

I can see why they changed it. It's so unnoticeable though, but it's there.

I updated the fort wiki to reflect the changes.

I've heard a few offhand complaints about the sniper not being a perfect; I've just been ignoring them 0.o Glad you checked =p and on the wiki you put "halfway" through V1.36? What do you know?? *stares*

I don't know anything else. I never knew Tig actually took notice of my report until I actually tried it again. Lol

But yeah trust me, if I had anything to do with weapon balancing I would have already proposed the changes.

E: You know.. thinking about it, I wonder how willing Tig would be to balance the weapons seeing as he was willing to change the M40 A5. (Given that the community analyses the weapons properly and provides a detailed report proposing which changes to the guns)
