Yes, the 'characters' are just skins, think of it like TFM's furs/colours.

I am not sure about it but from what I've been observing it's like:
If the game ends really fast, like within the first minutes you don't get any potatoes. The longer the game lasts the more potatoes you'll get. If you go til the end you get the max number of potatoes.
However this depends on your kills as well. I suppose when you have 0 kills you have like 0-1 potatoes and when you have 3 or more you get 3-4 potatoes.
Again, I might be wrong but from what I have seen it has looked like that. I hope I didnt make it much confusing lol.

Someone please,please help. I kill people and I make sure my team wins, but no potatoes. It doesn't make any sense. All day long i've been stuck on 149. I kill so many people, but not a potato to my name. It would be extremely appreciated if someone helped!!

they didn't reset skins or hazelnuts after bouboum got out of beta, just stats, so i assume they'll do the same here

It all depends on your screen monitor/resolution

Some prefer full screen and other prefer offscreen.

But as Suwako said unlike TFM.

Fs doesn't give you a better glimpse of the map since all the offscreen is black.
