Honestly I like Fortoresse very much, but I can't pull myself from tfm long enough to play on it because my internet has been a bitch to me lately and won't let me play on it much and I don't want it to completely kill my computer. I hope Atelier doesn't shut it down, and yes they can add more modes like in tfm, they could add in prophunt and it'll be more like gmod with the shooting, that'll probably attract a lot more people. |

Fewfre a dit : Exactly. I tried countless times to start conversations or at least get people to talk, but sadly I just ended up taking to myself. /.\ I guess they're too busy focusing on the game...or have no clues what I was saying... Dernière modification le 1426175700000 |

I think the games should be advertised on Transformice (pop-ups) and on other websites. |

Even if they weren't making a new game, I doubt they'd work on Fortoresse or any of their other games because they're not profitable (regardless of how many people will say it is, it's not). I feel like they're doing the right thing by stopping Celousco but immediately making the same mistake by jumping straight to making a new game. The only thing I can really say is; I just hope their idea is original this time.. |

Consider fort dead. Atelier has basically sealed it's death by the announcement of a new game. Promises have been broken, updates have been delayed for far too long. The only people who get their way now in fort are spasers/MP5ers with their overvalued weapons, and also hackers. Moderation may exist, but it will never phase out hackers. Atelier made a carelessly done update on nekodancer, who knows how much they'll wreck fort with a rushed update if they ever do it. Major pros have all migrated out of the game. The essence of the old fort is no longer there. You can't have fun any more in fort. Monetising the game at this point is useless now because people have tens of thousands of potatos which will satisfy them through any kind of update. I have an account with a 26 kill to death ratio. I can't increase this any more because I keep dying to MP5 and SPAS 12 users who are happily going around hunting people down who have almost no means to fight back. The only way to escape is to resort to glitches, but MP5 and SPAS 12 users are experts at glitching, so even that's futile. I'm using an m40 a5, which has the highest and hardest learning curve of all the weapons in my opinion. E: I found this on another page. It seems that they might not delay this like they did with Celousco, so I'll see what happens. I absolutely HOPE it's not ping based, seeing as it's a "volley" game, meaning that inputs are highly likely to be dependent on ping. ![]() Dernière modification le 1427762040000 |

Still another overused weapon, m40 a5 has the biggest kill potential in my opinion. Although is not as hard a of a weapon to use, players who main m40 a5 compared to players like me will see a difference in the skill. I think that fort a has a chance in surviving and will only do so by a steady pace. The developers are pro at what they do and constantly update tfm. I hope they will take some "why did we update" this game phases and apply to fort. This means if they update tfm with some new stats and mode makeover, why did they do it? Would be because stats were corrupt and modes were boring. |

The really sad truth is that Fort doesn't make enough money to be economical for Atelier 801 to keep it up. It's not our faults, or their faults really. Some games are just more popular. Tig loves Fort and I'm sure if it was up to him he'd put lots of work into it. But they just can't. It's unfortunate, but we should still respect them and love them because they gave us this game in the first place, didn't they? |

I honestly can't bring myself to put dedication into Fort. I agree a lot, the chat's always dead and it's swarming with cheaters/hackers. In my opinion, it was great just as a side minigame to TFM, where you'd just go to the minigame room and have fun with tribemates and friends. But as an independent game? I didn't think it'd work out very well. It's a great game, though I haven't played in forever, but it was better as a side game. Did it go with Transformice? No, I can understand that, but there, new players might see the minigames and get interested and start some buzz. Wish it had the same fun it did before. |

I think all of Atelier 801's other games (non tfm games) would be more popular if they reworked it so you could move between games seemlessly (with a little loading sequence for the additional assets / etc and unloading of previous game assets of course). It would make them just like advanced minigames, that can also stand on their own. I semi agree with Solfn on this. Releasing yet another new game seems to show they don't have much intentions of looking back and making their old games better. I secretly wonder if they just keep coming up with new games in hopes of creating a game that just happens to find popularity (especially from people who don't already play Atelier 801 games already). Although, at least with this game they seem to be aiming at a more "simplistic" game in terms of design. But I'm curious what their logic is with spending development time releasing new games instead of making the old ones better (although considering Bouboum, maybe they shouldn't? =p) Dernière modification le 1427809260000 |

Yeah, it's dead. I go on just sometimes to see if there's an update or anything, but I come back with nothing. Honestly, I can't stay there anymore for more than 10 minutes. It's completely ruined and quiet now. I used to go on because it was a fun place to go on with friends, and it used to be quite social. Now it's just dead and most people quit. It's also quite an accomplishment to find someone there that speaks English. I really hope someone at least tries to revive it, and honestly most people just want an update or moderation. Atelier has again ruined a game with so much potential. Dernière modification le 1427833020000 |

To be honest their side games have already had their time to shine and even though it wasn't long, they still did shine. I don't think reworking/reviving them would do any good because the end result would most likely be the same unless everything was changed drastically. I still believe the reason their games (besides Transformice) don't last long is because the concepts they base their games off of are already done down to the bone and to be fair.. They aren't really balanced. The only time I've really seen a game succeed like this is with Tetris, which is a classic where the goal remains the same and even in multi-player there's no advantages (This is a discussion for a different time though). Even when the games were on Transformice they still died out in terms of popularity rather quickly, but maybe that was because of the lack of advertisement and not so much the games themselves. This might be a bit of an unpopular opinion, but to be honest I kind of wish they would sell off their side games and put the money towards being a little more stable and maybe long-term development of a new game and not something that just comes out in a short of amount time. I'd be fairly curious of what direction the games do go in if that had happened however. |
