I initially mentioned it as something they are focusing on over Fortoresse, then someone brought it up again, then people started discussing it's possibility for Fortoresse. And compared to most threads on this forum, this is still fairly on-topic.

I feel like they won't update in a long time, if not ever, because they're focusing on TFM to make money rather than on Fortoresse

I'm trying to wait for the update. I will give it a month or two then I give up. If there is a update on fortoresse please tell me. =p

I imagine any update would still be more than 1-2 months off :( As Jerboaooie said, they're focusing on TFM for now (and Dead Maze).

Those admins are really stupid.. They make a lot of games and only update one of them: TFM. I know it was their first game and all, but that doesn't mean they should abandon their other games.

Celousco was supposed to be there and earn them money,but he died.So 801 has to make a new game quick to maintain their live.
This was a sudden change,so they abandon other games at the moment,only focus to a game.Hence they can have money and time to make and upgrade more games.

For me,I'm not optimistic.Dead Maze will probably be success.The problem is how successes it is.The bigger success,the bigger income.Also,success on Dead Maze doesn't mean they can do nothing and earn money,they still have to develop and update Dead Maze.The sceond one is Transformice,and the third one F....

Honestly I would just want to tweak the game on my own now but there's no means to create a temporary fan version while we wait. (Because the code is stored somewhere I can't access)

So many of the weapons need serious balancing.

Deadmaze will probably flop because of this paid feature and having this several free hours of access thing. Most people would probably be driven away from the game before they'd even think about paying for it. There's no point. It's probably going to die. They're taking the wrong direction with the game. They're basically.. trying to force the money to come to them right now. Not really giving us any incentive other than loyalty to pay for this game.

I still play when I feel like it, but it's a bit less and less.

@Solfn: I would love if they made their "abandoned" games open-source (although it won't happen for security reasons I'm sure). When/if module 801 comes out, it might be fun to try to get a group together to work on a fan Fortoresse (or Fortoresse inspired game anyways).

At the most I wish they'd allow us to contribute stuff to the game / actually finish the stuff on Trello (not that most of the Trello updates seem that interesting for me).
