Just add. + I tried to remake an old Forteresse map (a lot of fun with the team) but... you can't with that game engine too bad... This map is a remake too... The grey lines allow players to climb, even if you try with stairs it's not the same thing (+ it's too big ! ) . SPAS-12 in that kind of map (because unbreakable map and no conj) are just useless... unless they take cover somewhere, without reticle bloom the first who shoot win. SPAS-12 users CAN'T rush and you can't avoid snipers (we talk about walls ? ) . It's possible but with snipers (op) and SPAS-12 users (useless) it's very very hard. |

Nothing, it's just for other people. EDIT : like the World 7 (Forteresse) . The map isn't really "blank" because of the black around (there is something that make players respawn without dying behind that's why) . Note : the green square is just for FortEdit. Nice to know getting a reply from 801 may be a long long time. I have sent a asking to 801 for something at 9 may,and I still didn't get any respond.I thought they ignore it as it's English or whatever.Fewfre,something interesting I want to let you see,I will send you a PM. I would love a no conj area ("cloud ground"), and indestructible blocks could be interesting if not abused. Hopefully Tig will consider putting in a real map editor, and then maybe some of this stuff would be added automatically. But I'm not getting my hopes up that much. And yes, I've heard (from random "sources") that it can potentially take weeks to get a response from Atelier 801 when using the contact form, for something such requesting to change your email address (encase you can't access your old email to verify it). They are a small company and most likely get a lot of spam (due to the contact link being on the Transformice front page), all of which is in different languages, so I can understand why I guess. Assuming you mean this one, I put it under ideas because: -it's not the dimensions for Fortoresse -The background and foreground aren't separated -If I understand your description correctly, it would require a few new game mechanics to work, and as mentioned before, this thread is supposed to have "production quality" maps that can easily be put into game with virtually no effort, to increase the likelihood of Atelier 801 adding them to the game. If they have to redraw a map / add a new mechanic, I think they are much more likely to not add anything. This thread is basically just supposed to be like the map editor; not for new mechanics, but just submitting maps using pre-existing features. |

Oh, for anyone curious, I did send Atelier 801 a contact message, and got a response around the end of May. The idea has been passed to Tig to be checked. So the idea is on them now. Still, I'll update the thread should anyone wish to submit more maps / map ideas. Sorry for putting off the mention, figured I'd wait a little while to see if there was any "quick" response, and forgot to mention it. |

Cheddarfist a dit : Nice map! I like how everything is setup with the second flag right below, either forcing people to go right down, or start digging a new path from the spawn. I also prefer this as a two flag map (versus your original), although I kinda miss the sail shading from previously. Some concerns / thoughts: 1) The way maps work they need to be at like 300px in width when in the game, so that when it's enlarged each pixel is one block. And if your map is shrunk down that much, some the the spaces in your sales become kinda scrunched / nonexistent (not a big issue, but..). 2) When shrunk down, the edges of the color may start to blend with the empty space making hard-to-see-blocks around all the edges (some of which already happens on the full scale image (most likely due to whatever brush tool you used). This is definitely fixable after it's shrunk, but some of the things like the ropes end up only being like 1-2 blocks in width if the low opacity blocks are removed. This effect isn't really noticeable unless you open the image in an image editor and zoom in (like it would be in-game). 3) Not really an "issue", but the map is a fair bit taller than other maps; at 300px width, it's height is ~138px (18px or like 15% higher than any other map). That said, still a very nice map! And none of those typical creepy animal skeletons in the background you find on official maps =p |
