I just like how Fortoresse is still labeled "BETA"
but overall Nekodancer is the least popular game, Fortoresse is a solid second.

Fortoresse is a great game considering the fans whom are active can provide a lot. The game doesn't have anything for a player to strive for. We don't have achievements or sorts but we create our own events and there is so much for a beginner to discover. The improvement and growth you see as a player is very noticeable. Fans of shooters will enjoy this game, however, the problem is getting them to try it out and stick with it. Having said that Fortoresse is an enjoyable game fans of shooters will not try or stick with the game because of the graphics and budget of the game. This is coming from someone who plays Overwatch and other high budget shooters.

I forget the terms but there is a term for the skill cap of games. Its separated into two categories. one for mechanics such as aiming, maneuvering, and reaction speed. The other is for prediction, tactics, and knowledge of the game. The skill cap for the first category is fairly low for Fortoresse, but for 2d and flash game it excels in the second category and thats what i think gets players hooked onto fort. Players are able to improve quickly but the competition is tight. Fans of shooters won't get hooked until they explore the game more. People often pass on the wonderful aspects of the game.

Advertising will get players to try it out, but the community will have to help players integrate and get the most out of their potential. People only ever get hooked onto a game when they're good at it.

I got all the guns, but after a while I got bored of it, and people spontaneously died (spawn death, or very near to that) without getting shoot whatsoever. It got annoying.

But I still play when I have the time (and on the laptop)
