placeholder placeholder placeholder placeholder placeholder Level 20 Skill Tree We start with climbing the Spiritual tree because its skills are the most useful for quickly accumulating saves, helping you unlock more modes faster and level up faster. Start off by getting Additional Time (5/5) to give you more time to complete your rounds. Next put a point in Unburstable, increasing your survival rate. Then spread 4 points between Big Cheese and Superstar as desired (Big Cheese tends to be more helpful). Level 40 Skill Tree Immediately obtain Ambulance (5/5). Some would argue that this is the most valuable skill in the game, as no matter how pro you are at jumping or building, there will inevitably be someone who manages to derp and die or intentionally die. Furthermore, this skill is absolutely needed for super-cheesefarming. Get Chief's Food (1/1), Easy Victory (2/5), and Teleporter (2/5) for the bare minimum you will need in order to help newbies in public room. Put a point in Spring. This skill is truly helpful for quickly completing non-building maps and is especially useful for vanilla bomb maps. A point in Apple will help you save the AFK mice (place at mice's spawn location during your round). Next it's time to climb the Wind tree, which is more useful for mobility than climbing the Physicist tree because Personal Teleporter is instantaneous and because you cannot grapnel to every location on maps. First, avoid Clean Bubble (the enemy of every pro shaman) and get Endurance (5/5). Next, grab Opportunist (1/1), as it is immensely helpful when participating in cheesefarming (Note: you will need to get in the habit of remembering to revive dead mice before your last mouse gets in or you will lose saves). Also grab Diet (5/5), which actually increases your shaman's running speed. Some players enjoy using Cleats so that they can stand on their build without falling off. However, this is actually very inconvenient on some maps (for example, anti-gravity maps), as these cleats will prevent you from running up your build. Furthermore, having cleats will make you sluggish at running around, slowing down your completion of the map, and will enrage many partner shamans on dual shaman maps. Rather than turtling yourself, instead work on becoming a better shaman who can successfully complete maps without such crutches. Spread 5 points across Chocokiss, Rocket Scientist, and Companion Crate as desired. Companion Crate is useful for builds where you will want an anvil-shaped box that can later be removed from any distance. Rocket Scientist helps with mobility, though I find that Personal Teleporter in the next tier is more efficient to use. Finally, grab Personal Teleporter (2/5) for a much-desired boost in mobility. Level 60 Skill Tree It is now time to climb the Mechanician tree. Mechanician tree has always been one of my favorite trees, as it allows you to summon objects / complete builds much faster, increases your spawn range, allows you to delete objects, and toggle the ghost/solid state of your objects. This makes the Mechanician tree the most powerful tree for true building enthusiasts. Neither of the tier 1 mech skills are good. Multiple Ball is terrible on anti-gravity maps or any other type of map where you would potentially want to use a ball while building. Big Spirit is only applicable when you are in normal mode or when you are on the drawing vanilla maps (Note: many players will not expect the increased range). Go ahead and get Big Spirit (5/5). Grab Ice Plank (1/1) and some Super Cannonball (4/5). Heavier anvils can be useful, but they tend to make builds tremble when there are too many of them due to overweighting. Additionally, it helps you learn weighting principles more easily / building with anvils if we use a standard anvil weight. Get Chocolate Plank (1/1) and spread 4 points across Stable Rune and Aerodynamic Balloon as desired. Having faster balloons is a blessing on most maps, but it can be troublesome if you need to use the balloon to build while it is rising. There are a lot of uses for Stable Rune, especially in hard mode, so it is worth getting a few of them. Chocolate Plank is very useful when building for newbies who cannot wall-jump. Also, since the choco plank is small, it is very good for building in cramped areas where an easy-to-use ramp may not fit. For the next tier, obtain Master Summoner (5/5) and rejoice. Level 80 Skill Tree Get Demolition (3/5) and Architect (2/5). They are excellent if you (or a partner shaman) make a mistake, if a mouse gets trapped, or if there are pesky map objects on the screen. At the top, grab Eagle Eye for a large boost in range. Wildling Tree has an assortment of useful, bizarre, terrible, and fun skills. Not many players fully climb this tree, as it is just inferior overall to the other trees. At the bottom, trade in some of your recently-earned range to gain faster spawning speed. In the row above, grab Spidermouse (3/5) and Earth Symbol (1/1). Earth symbol is a very fast and efficient way to solve vanilla map 81 before the gravity reverses (simply place the triangle on the cloud). Webs are even more useful, possessing a variety of uses. You can place safety webs to catch mice who fail to wall-jump, catch bombs in them, lazily complete portal maps (which aren't that fun in divine mode anyhow), and use them to help mice on other non-building maps. Physicist tree is a tree that I don't recommend for my friends and fellow building enthusiasts. Its skills tend to be best for those who want to lazily complete building maps, those who can't build and gave up on learning to build, or those who love to make contraptions (shamans like Rusengeneer and Ykr are very cool with these). Most players should skip this tree if they want to become pro builders. Now that the most essential shaman skills have been covered, it's time to get the skills that are still very useful but were not as high on the priority list. Get more Teleporter (5/5) and another Apple (2/5). Level 100 Skill Tree Return to the Wind tree and get Personal Teleporter (5/5) Next get Acrobat (1/1) and spread 4 points across Chocokiss, Projection, Tight Budget, Transformice, and Stern Mouse as desired. Projection is difficult to handle, so train yourself carefully if you intend on getting it. Grab Angel and rejoice. Get another Easy Victory (3/5), Speed Boost (1/1), yet another Apple, and Ancestral Spirit (5/5). Speed Boost is helpful in completing your rounds faster. Ancestral Spirit is great for saving mice if you happen to die or for taking revenge on a malicious shaman partner if they killed you and are incompetent. In the mech tree, get Anti-Spirit (1/1). This skill is mostly useless in hard and divine modes, but it can be excellent on vanilla drawing maps (You can catch mice who are falling). Grab another Spidermouse (3/5) and Small but Brawny (1/5). The tiny shaman skill has the hidden effect of separating you from your soulmate on soulmate maps. Then get Nature's Return (1/1), which helps you clear the map of shaman objects very quickly without wasting demolition. |
