We are the felines of the night, of the underground, of your very nightmares. Beware while stalking the grounds of our fierce warriors, as you may find yourself with a set of claws at your throat. On silent paws we are able to surprise even the most wary of enemies, as be are the cats queens tell their kits to avoid, the cats who fight without mercy, and the cats that cause even the strongest leaders to tremble. Still around? Welcome to WrathClan,

The Vicious and Feared!

► Our Symbol ◄

Our Symbol (As seen above) is an abstract representation of the face of an evil grinning cat, meant to strike fear into those who oppose us. This face has grown to represent so much more as our symbol, now being felt by clan members as more of the embodiment of our name, Wrath. Wrath is defined as "A strong, stern, or fierce anger; or a deeply resentful indignation." Which not only displays perfectly the ferocity our warriors put into defending their clan, but also the clan pride and togetherness that keeps us joined in unity to this day.

► Our Story ◄

WrathClan was founded by Bloodrevolt and Emowolves alongside the help of some friends after leaving a clan. Having for the first time, experienced what life in a clan tribe was like, I was inspired to create a clan. However, I did not want to the growing number of random clans with masses upon masses of inexperienced roleplayers, either those who were starting out or still did not have a grasp on the intricate nature of character and plot development, as well consideration for grammar and spelling that goes into a good roleplay. Determined to make a tribe where advanced roleplayers are able to roleplay, not only warrior cats but other side plots as well, WrathClan was created. Meant to be a not necessarily big clan where experienced roleplayers could flourish, it currently stands open and growing.

► TRIBE REGULATIONS ◄

Respect your fellow Tribe Members
We do not want to see real insults, discrimination, fights, bullying, or rivalries between tribe members, respect must be given as well as earned, so please do not hide behind a screen and instead treat all tribe members as equal human beings. Seeing as we wish for mature members, we expect you to be the better person in an argument and either report or whisper a higher rank. Those causing drama will be very simply be kicked.

Follow the Roleplay Rules
Given that our tribe is mainly about roleplaying for mature, experienced roleplayers, I ask that you abide by the roleplaying rules. Anyone who does not fit these regulations well will have to be kicked from the tribe, as we are not here to teach people who are just starting out or do not have the language skills necessary to roleplay well developed characters in an advanced roleplaying environment. These rules can be found in the 'Characters' and 'Roleplaying' tabs.

► ROLEPLAYING RULES ◄
Seeing as WrathClan takes roleplaying as a very essential part of our tribe, we have a couple rules and suggestions to make the roleplay(s) as enjoyable for all our members as possible. Experienced roleplayers thinking about joining should already know most if not all of these, thus these are only provided here for convenience and reminders.

-Godmodding
God-modding is a big no no in roleplay. It is similar to having a Mary/Gary sue but differs in that it can happen with any kind of character. God-Modding is defined as having your character do something overpowered for them in order to win a fight and/or prove themselves. It most often occurs in battle, but can happen outside of it as well. An example of godmodding in battle would be: CharacterA, despite being petite, felt a surge of power in battle, and suddenly let out a barrage of slashes that would surely hit many cats at once. An example of godmodding outside of battle would be a cat taking down a full-grown hawk single-handedly.

-Powerplaying
Powerplaying is very similar to godmodding, as usually you cannot do one without accidentally also doing the other. However, powerplaying refers less to the character themselves. Powerplaying is accidentally or intentionally taking control of another person's character in order to ensure they cannot avoid an action inflicted upon them. An example would be: CharacterA slashes at CharacterB, causing them to stumble over and fall into a pit. The owner of Character B is the only one who can determine what the outcome of being slashed at would be, so the owner of CharacterA cannot say that they fell into a pit after slashing at their character.

While, like godmodding, powerplay does occur most often in battle, it can also happen quite often outside of it. Powerplaying outside of battle would can be either taking control of another character's actions, or progressing too fast, which prevents them from responding to an action. An example of this would be: PersonA forces PersonB down, quickly handcuffing them and throwing them into a jail cell before walking off. This is a big annoyance to the owner of B, this is because PersonA did not give their character any chance at fighting back or any time to struggle, PersonA essentially ended it quickly.

-One Liners and Essays
Oneliners and essays can both be equally detrimental to a roleplay under the right circumstances. One-liners are incredibly short posts that are usually either one line or one sentence long (Although it can be used as a general term for a post that does not anything to a roleplay) Oneliners can range anywhere from "Person smiled." to "Person sits down and washes their paws. They look around that camp" Both of these posts add virtually nothing and do not help progress the plot. Even with writers block, a oneliner should never be the case for any rp.

Essays are the polar opposite of One liners, however, they can add equally as little as a oneliner depending on the circumstances. Essays are a general term for unnecessarily long and drawn out posts. NOTE that this does not apply to posts that are necessary for plot, setting, or character development. Such as a character explaining their history or describing a new area. Essays can be very intimidating to roleplayers who are not used to such long posts, but they usually do not add much. An essay can be as short as one paragraph or as long as 5 paragraphs, but the common point is that the length is not necessary to get the details across. An example would be something like, 3 paragraphs of describing the food lying on the fresh kill pile, or 5 paragraphs of a character patrolling the border. While information in these can be helpful, they do not have to be that long to get the point across.

-Crazy Twists
Yes, sometimes a twist is necessary every now and then to keep a story going, and this is understandable, but the kind of twists I'm referring to here Are twists that too surprising, make no sense, or have nothing to do with the story. For example, A character revealing that they are actually an enemy of the clan when they have shown no indication of it whatsoever, or a human comes in for no reason whatsoever. These twists can be annoying and difficult to properly incorporate into a plot.

► CHARACTER RULES ◄
Seeing as WrathClan sees character development as a very integral part of roleplaying, we have certain rules and suggestions on making a good character. Please note that we are not looking to suppress your creativity (In fact, we want you to show your creativity when making your character) We are simply avoiding badly made characters by setting the kind of standard we look for in experienced roleplayers.

-Mary Sues and Gary sues
A 'Mary Sue' (Or Gary sue if talking about a male) are characters that are meant to be perceived as 'perfect' in many or all senses. They are usually beautiful, 'blessed' with a flawless appearance that is rare or unrealistic compared to others, and overskilled or overpowered. Their owners usually make them out-perform anyone else in competitions or just in general, the absolute, unbeatable best at something, and in battle, can rarely be harmed or hit. These kinds of characters are extremely obnoxious to roleplayers and we ask that you think better when making yours.

-Ragdolls
Ragdolls, the lesser known polar opposite of the Mary Sue, are characters that, in short, live up to their name. 'Ragdoll' characters are characters that are very simply there for the pity. They are usually characterized by a tragic past that seems to out-sad everyone else's pasts. They are usually over depressed most of the time and refuse help within rp. In battle, they always get hit and severely wounded, often more than others, to ramp up the pity meter. Outside of battle, they always seem to get into trouble credited to 'bad luck' that ends with them injured. They can be even more annoying than Mary sues.

-Stay Realistic
Yes, its a battle to have a unique character without straying too far from what is actually possible within the real world, however, in a roleplay that is bound by certain laws that exist in the outside world, it is important to have characters that match. Thus, we ask that you stay as realistic as possible while creating your character while trying not to detract from their uniqueness. Characters with attributes such as pink fur, violet eyes, a thousand markings, ect, will not be accepted. We will be more lenient however, with eye colors, so some colors that are rare or unnatural in the real world (sterling silver, electric blue, pink for albinos) will be allowed,

Keep in mind however, your choice of words while aiming for one of the rarer colors will determine whether you it be accepted or not, saying your character has red or crimson eyes will most likely not fly with us, compared to saying your character has maroon (A much darker, duller red) eyes, has more of a chance at being accepted. Also, very few characters with these attributes will be accepted. If we find too many people are opting for these colors, we will have to make all traits be realistic.

-On Items
We know everyone loves an item or two on a character, however, when joining your character is not allowed items of any sort, even if they are natural, (eg. Leaf necklaces, berry-dyed fur, ect). The only exception to this rule will be made for collars, which will be reviewed on a character-by-character basis and not all will be accepted. Collars are only accepted if they tie in well to your character's history (eg. they were a kittypet) But keep in mind that they will most likely come off later in rp. Finally, Collars are only allowed to have standard pet add-ons, such as a name tag and/or bell; studded collars and collars with teeth/spikes (Such as Scourge's) will not be accepted.
