(Clears throat) Hello! My name is Strawberry. I am a young mare with a thing for comic books. I like to write a lot in my journal and work on my
superhero, STRAWBERRY MAN! A super strawberry with
a super taste for justice! I'll talk about that later. For now I would like to introduce you to my friends! First there's Arietta. She's a sweet unicorn
with a charming personality. She has a real cool cutie mark with colorful hearts and a paintbrush. Next there's Cinders. Cinder's is a real cool
friend who likes to work hard. She's an earth pony, so I don't understand why she's so bothered by dirt( I mean dirt's earth!).
Her cutie marks this real cool looking mallet. Me, Arietta, and Cinders are on a journey. We are gonna travel the world and meet lots of people.
I'm real excited. We've almost finished packing for the journey and I'm packing my last box of crayons and bars of chocolate as we speak.

I'm Arietta, nice to meet you. A couple of friends and myself decided it'd be fun to travel the world and meet new ponies (other creatures too) and see new places, and I love meeting new ponies, I wonder if I'll be able to make a lot of new friends, you can never have too many, right? I was putting my bags in a small wagon that I'd be pulling, of course making sure that I had some paint, lots of paper, and an easel. Oh and I didn't forget to bring food and water either, plus my favorite knitted blankets and some games. I had also put a small tent, mainly because it was the only tent I had and partly because it might rain while we're out on the road.

There are plenty of sweets in there too, don't worry about us lacking in some beloved, sugary goods!

So we where all packed an.d ready to go. I gave one last giant hug to my dog Odis. Sadly I could bring Odis because my parents needed him at home. So we set off! I unfolded my map and traced the smiley-faced stickers I used to mark fun places, "Well, we could either go to a waterpark or a zoo." "That's great." Arietta said, though I could tell she was too distracted by a colorful butterfly to hear what I was actually saying. I folded the map and put it in my bag, "Perhaps that can wait." I pulled out my package ofSUPER COLOR MARKERS and started drawing my dog. That's about it for now.

We'd been walking for about ten minutes, and I was enjoying every second of it. I was so enraptured by the life around me I hadn't heard what Strawberry was saying, so I just said "That's great!" hoping that what she said really was, gathering from what I knew about her it was probably something about where we'd go first. My eyes were too busy staring at the vibrant landscape and wildlife (butterflies) to really pay attention, and a small part of me remarked that I'd have to work on observing and listening at the same time otherwise a lot of planning would prance right by me. Oh well, I'll listen later, when we have lunch.

Skipping lightly I hummed to myself, smiling as I watched a small group of butterflies fly past us. A sudden though struck me and I narrowed my eyes. I was the only unicorn here, what if we needed magic to do stuff, I don't know how strong my magic is... "I'm probably gonna have to practice some spells while we're out, aren't I?" I said to the others, sticking my bottom lip out in a lighthearted pout.

Turns out that I packed a lot more stuff than I planned. Ah, man... I forgot that all the strong stallions were pulling these things, not weak mares like me! I grunted as I slowly trudged behind them.

Stay on the path, stay on the path...

"I'm probably gonna have to practice some spells while we're out, aren't I?" I heard Ari say.

I grunted in reply. "Yeah," I sniffed. "Probably."

Dang... Why did it have to be a sunny day? I mean, rain would be bad too, but I'm sweating so much! Ew, now I'll really smell...

"Hey, Strawberry," I said after a while, "when're we gonna get to the next stop? I'm tired..." I kicked at the dirt path below us, picking up dust. "And getting hungry... ish." I looked around, huffing.

It looked pretty much the same. Butterflies, rabbits, fluffy clouds... the works. Lush green hills... and for the first time ever, I REALLY hate hills right now!

"Can somepony help me?! Or at least take shifts with me?!"

We were heading through a dirt path and going up and down hills when I heard this weird screech, "Daah!" I turned my head to see a big bird, "You have some lungs fella!' I said hoping to get a laugh from someone. Nothing. "Hey, Strawberry," I heard Cinders call behind me, "when're we gonna get to the next stop? I'm tired..." She kicked up some dust which got stuck on the end of my tail, "And getting hungry...ish." I didn't bother replying right away. Instead I checked my map for which place would be easier and quicker to get to, I suddenly heard her say, "Can somepony help me?! Or at least take shifts with me?!" I turned around and trotted towards the wagon. I reached into the back and pulled out an extra one of those things that keeps you attached while you pull the wagon, "Sorry, I forgot about this." I felt like she was giving me one of those 'seriously?' looks, but I was honestly kind of scared to look and see. I attached the extra thing and helped her pull the wagon. "SCREEEEEEEE!" I jumped and almost sent the wagon down the hill. The bird was back.

I watched Strawberry attach herself to the wagon and help pull it up the hill we were currently climbing, and I bit back a chuckle when the bird screeched, making her jump and temporarily let the wagon pull her and the weary Cinders back. "Maybe you should take a break from pulling entirely, Cinders" I said, when we reached the top. "Strawberry and I can pull it, I should be able to take some of the weight off by pulling with my magic. I'll get some practice and you'll get a rest." Pausing I looked around, and added "Maybe we should stop and eat after a few more hills."

I sat on the ground, breathing heavily. "Yes," I panted, "Please do! Strawberry helped, but I'm really tired!"

I got out of the contraption and stood up, shaking my mane. Whew, that feels so good. I'm free at last! I grinned. "I'm still tired, but all that stress off my back feels GREAT!"

Arietta switched places with Cinders and Me and her pulled the wagon, "Maybe we should stop and eat after a few more hills." Suddenly it struck me, "C'mon guys! Were close to our first pit stop!" We walked for awhile, all tired and huffing like a dog after it just barely survived a heat stroke. We started to see houses and shops, we where in a small modern-looking town. I kept turning my head from side to side, checking for the place, then a second later I saw it, "Aha! Here we are! Milkyway's Milkshakes." We trotted into the building and where suddenly surrounded by cool air, "Air conditioning!" I said feeling relieved. I motioned the girls to sit down, and they sat at the nearest table. I trotted over to the stallion behind the counter, "Hey there he is! My main stallion! How are ya? It's been awhile." The stallion looked at me like I was nuts, "Pardon me, do I know you young'n?" I was shocked, "It's me! Strawberry! Remember?! I helped you train for that strongest stallion contest a long time ago don't yo-" he started chuckling loudly, "I'm kidd'n with ya haystack! Course I remember you!" I gave him one of those 'don't trick me like that!' faces, "What can I do ya for?" He said motioning to the flavors menu, "One strawberry and two vanilla please!" I said all 'cowmare' like, he chuckled and said, "Comin' right up!" And right up it came. I sat down and gave the girls there milkshakes. I sipped mine happily and looked at the map for awhile.

After a few sips of my milkshake I glanced at Strawberry "You've been here before?" I asked, curious after watching the friendly conversation she and the Stallion at the counter had had. After asking I leaned out to stare at him, when he caught me staring his eyes widened a little in awkwardness, presumably uncomfortable under my scrutiny. That is, until I smiled at him. It took no time for him to grin and wave back, like we were old time pals. I waved in response, my grin growing wider as I leaned back in my seat. "The Stallion seems nice"

"The stallion seems nice," Ari said, smiling to herself.

"Aw, is Ari falling for somepony?" I teased. I took a sip and looked outside, ignoring the look she was probably giving me.

To be fair, he really did seem nice. Strong accent, though.

I took another sip. "Mmm... this is real good! When we come back, maybe we could stop by here again?" I smiled, satisfied. The air conditioning was a great relief from the sun beating outside.

Hmm, I wonder if we could go in any other buildings? I saw this sweets shop a while back. Mm, I wonder if they have any other candies we don't have...

"And, yeah, Strawberry, you've been here before?"

The girls where asking me about the conversation I had had with the stallion at the counter, "Oh yeah! Me and my family came out here to meet my uncle half way when he came to visit us!" I took a big sip of my strawberry milkshake, "I ended up helping Horseshoe over there win a strongest stallion contest. He gave me a coupon for free milkshakes for life!" I started drinking my milkshake non stop, "GGGGnnhhhh, brain freeze!" I started rubbing my forehead nonstop until it went away, "I can introduce you guys if you want. He's a nice stallion."

I narrowed my eyes at Cinders comment, and ended up laughing briefly after a few seconds. "I'd like to meet him, after we should probably talk about whatever plans you had for this trip?" I took another sip of my milkshake, a thoughtful expression on my face. "We should also discuss on where we'll be staying tonight, do we keep going or look for an inn in the town?" I went for one more sip, and looked at my cup, surprised to see it was already empty.

Well... It was a good milkshake.

"Life time free coupon of these?" I asked. "Wow, you serious? That is the bomb! And, er, sure!"

I drank some more before realizing my glass was empty. Aw.

"And yeah, are there any inns around? I don't really wanna camp outside unless I have a clean surface." I shuddered. Dirt and grime! Gross! "Or I could just sleep in the cart," I offered. "So we can hang around outside. I do want to stargaze tonight."

I got off my stool and walked over to the window. "Also, I was wondering, Ari... We have any candies?"

I listened and nodded as the girls discussed places to sleep tonight, "Well if we need a place to sleep I'm pretty sure we could find an inn, I remember my family and I had to stay the night in an inn here while we waited for my uncle. If only I could remember." I sipped my milkshake with a big smile on my face, then I remembered they had finished theirs already, "So you guys wanna go meet him? C'mon!" I walked over to Horseshoe with the girls, "Horseshoe, these are my friends, Arietta and Cinders." He looked them up and down, then gave us a big smile, "Howdy, young'n! My name as y'all may have already guessed, is Horseshoe. Me and lil' haystack here go way back!" He said ruffling my mane, "Aye! I just brushed my mane!" He chuckled loudly, "Y'all want another shake?" I turned to the girls, "Do you guys?"
