When it comes to hand gesutres i normally do them myself ;u;"
The one that uses less energy when the elbow is actually pointing downwards and is beside the sides, but for that pose, the arm would be much higher (it feels more comfortable :o)

The anatomy of the upper body is a bit out of shape, especially that the arm joint is too out, making the arm too shot and the forearm too long
so yea ;u;" hope it helps in a way.
Sycra and Proko video tutorials help me so i hope it will for you too ^_^

I think you must be mistaken, haha. I made my banner myself in Paint Tool SAI. :)

Also, do you have a clearer reference? I rarely draw animals, so I'd really like to have a clearer reference of the anatomy and such.
