[Suggestion] Allowing gfycat and/or imgur's .gifv format |
0 | ||
Right now we can use gif images which are big (in bytes) and noisy (bad quality due to compression and limitation of 256 colors) or Youtube,Vimeo,Dailymotion which are hard to upload (compared to images - you have to have account on this sites) and don't support autoplay and loop. e.g this formats could be used for sharing short videos from game. gfycat.com/about blog.imgur.com/2014/10/09/introducing-gifv/ it's XXI century people |

+1, don't see any harm in these formats being supported, they would be beneficial for those that would like to use gifv (webm too?), and gfy is used an awful lot more nowadays too. +minstens a dit : These are separate standards that are designed to work efficiently on all kinds of devices, everyone with a modern web browser (any version from this decade) should be able to run them just fiine if implemented properly.
