Hi All, This message is for everyone!

The first time I tried to send this message out on forums the gateway broke and forums went down

I might be the only one having this issue but everytime since yesterday I try to log onto a Transformice i either get a "Attempting to connect to eu/au server" or pass into the logging in screen for it to never log me in after typing my accounts information as requested .I have tried logging in at different times of the day and there is no change to allow me to play the game , Is anyone else having this problem?? It would not be a ban as I have done nothing to deserve this as a active player since i made this new account from returning after i lost me 2017 account details

I managed to log in late last night but the tribes were not available, nor was most options including gender which made my mouse automatically female when i never chose that option! The small amount of players that did get into the eu servers were also having the same problems, then soon losing connection Something is wrong with these servers. Whoever this hacker is has successfully shutdown the server (If this was to show the Devs how outdated everything is Thank you as they won't listen to the players, and the moderators struggle to get a hold of them as i have been told - I do not blame you either) , I hope that now the Devs will listen and begin to pay for staff rather then rely on volunteers as the mods are not on long enough to address most serious issues through ignoring whispers/turning off whispers and not checking the forum otherwise that tells me this game is just a cash grab which i do not support . Or at least make a transformice 2 where there is a anticheat on to prevent overloading the server. It is in the best interest that the Devs sort this out as Transformice is a source of income and there are still many active dedicated players from years ago and returning players, if this is not sorted soon people WILL start leaving and not returning.

For those who think this game is dead, it is not. There are so many new players joining now. If you look at the steam charts the amount of players still hold up from 2018 and better then 2019 showing that this game can be brought back to life, much like club penguin and Neopets. As long as theres enough players to get cheese and complete daily tasks there is hope. The current drop in players would only be because of the recent cyber attacks mainly because of lack of intiative on someones part

Anytime i search over the internet what the problem is, Everywhere says the servers are running when they are most definintly not past the log in screen! Is this just an Eu problem? is anyone else struggling

To anyone who contributed to this problem: I have no issue with you, this was going to happen sooner or later. I just hope the Devs now try harder to fix any future problems, or end it for good. Whatever you did you have succeeded now Im interested to see what the steps are from here.

this is happening worldwide, not only in europe. the fact is that a hacker figured out a way to spam/flood shaman items every round, leading the game to crash. apparently theres ddos attack too but im not sure about it. i think that the biggest problem is that we have a small number of mods... if we had more, we could be able to stop this mf right when he starts crashing the game. otherwise its very hard to become a mod, u gotta send alot of docs to become part of staff and sending all those stuffs is pointless imo. if mods got paid, it would be fine but sending personal docs for a job and not being paid is kinda pointless. if it wasnt so hard to become one, we would have more mods and it wouldnt be like this.

It is a recurrent problem for the past 3 or 4 days, I can log in for like 5 minutes and there are a lot of Souris coming to *vanilla1 and then the party is starting. It is so sad that this is happening without any measure from the game developers or any official notification stating that there is problems with the servers. Sad and disturbing at the same time, this game deserve more than such an ending.

Yeah on my side of things its been happening longer then 4 days. We were in *Transformice1 and every so often something strange would happen. Itd always be a *Souris standing still. We as a server managed to */ban the account off the server and it worked for the entire day. Based on that I think its really just one person. Other players have said allegedly said this hacker has began to sell their hacks last night so it may have increase the players using it. :(

My message is not meant to be seen as ill intent im genuinely invested to help restore some of this games functions

Maybe he sold it, you are right because It is impossible for one person to be like 24/7 making the servers go down. Even right now it worked for like 5 minutes and then it went off.

I definitely agree with you on that one, do you know why they require so much information? Is it something to do with legal paperwork specific to France?. Most of the time when im online there is a lack of mods to the point most people just take advantage of certain timeframes consistantly where they do whatever. Its fine until someone really messes with players, like adding barriers or slowing down peoples fps. Also this hacker didn't just spam shaman items, they can make the cheese kill you too, so there is probably more to it. Some hackers want others to be reported out of nowhere claiming that account is also hacking in non eu racing servers. but then that account being reported joins the server and acts odd, befriending those other hackers and claiming what client they use.. This commonly happend a multitude of times, I think they are usually the same people based off how they speak. They don't seem like bad people out of the whole hacking thing but im just wary. maybe they are trying to see how fast mods get to them? or maybe they bypass something in a player when their account gets reported gaining some control?? eitherway its weird. I remember in 2019ish there was very similar hacks going on but not to the point it was crashing servers.

I noticed that they had a schedule when they would log on, usually leaving around this time and coming back in a few hours. the fact its happening 24/7 now tells me something has changed :(

from what ive read, they ask for those infos cuz mods/sents/mapcrews are officially registered workers in france, even tho its a voluntary work so they dont get paid. it wasnt always like this tho, in the past like 2010/11/12 it wasnt a thing. about the hackers being able to kill u when u touch the cheese ur right, i remember dying out of nowhere when i got the cheese... so its worse than i thought it was cuz they have like funcorp powers. thats really sad

I know it is not realistic to think that this game will last forever.. but i want to dream.
I grew up with this game. As a quiet kid who was always shy and prefered to be in her room, I spent lots of time here... i even met so many wonderful people and made friends.
And I know a lot of people might say ''oh it is just a game'' for me it is not.
And the day transformice dies is gonna be very sad </3

The game finally looks fixed from this latest hacker attack. I was in for a good 7hours approx and there was no suspicious activity matching this thread

Yeah now its so recognised people from all over have been commenting on the matter. One of which was posted an hour ago on steam writing in Simplified Chinese saying that if nothing is fixed they are sending a "bomb" and the countddown had started xD. This might turn into a all out hacker war regarding who can stop this hacker X_x. either way nothing has changed and the matter may get worse.

Based on the irregular hours of this attack its probably one person or an organised group rather then i bunch of unaware individuals
