I apparently updated java and some shimeji's I've been wanting still don't run. The japanese message pops up. I don't know what to do.

Downgrade to Java 6 because the shimejis don't run on newer versions of java i think

How do I downgrade?

you have to download a older version of java (in this case, java 6)

Does anyone know how to change a Shimeji from calm to active to mischevious through the code? I have mine in Japanese and I don't know where to change its settings...

But basicly where I downloaded it had only one download and they're all on calm. How do I change it to make it mischevious?

I suggest you go on Deviantart and look up "shimeji". there are tons! (i now have a Tubbs one)
1. You'll need WinRar though, once you get it, click on the file you downloaded, and click "Extract here".
2. Then open the folder, and find a file that should look like:
3. Open that, select the shimeji you got, and you can use it now!
They are easy to deactivate, click the " ^ " here: (bottom right hand corner of your screen) .
Then you should see something similar to the icon in . Right click that, and you will get commands like "Another one!" (duplicates), "Follow Mouse!"(follows cursor), "Reduce to one!"(removes all but one), "Restore IE!" (restores any windows your shimeji may have thrown off the screen), and "Bye Everyone!" (removes all shimeji).
