Because you can not die... unless he pulls it off...
Anyway, Id just pull it on and run out for help, maybe looking down at the ground so that you dont look into his eyes, and you can still see if you are gonna hit something. You can't die if he doesnt see your eyes, so I would just run till I find someone who can help me.
