People call me "pro" but I don't think or act like I am, most of the time I'm quiet and just play for fun. If anyone whispers me I can be sarcastic but I'm a very nice and caring person. :) |

I hate pros that act like there the kings/queens of the world, but I guess we have to deal with it. |

I really don't think them having high stats has anything to do with it, some people are just jerks. I'm sure if i spent an hour looking i could find someone with low stats being mean to someone. |

those with high stats and terrible attitudes are not pro. by that i mean they are- calling someone who obviously either had not much experience of shamaning, or has never shammed before a "noob" is not what a "pro" does however, those who are pro may not have great stats but they have been around for a long time and they help new players out for the most part |

Anyone with a bad attitude isn't a "pro." There are low-stat users that are more experienced than users with high stats. Why? Because they play the game well and the aren't rude and annoying. Pros aren't made just upon stats. They also are mature. |

^ what o.O Anyway, iv'e been playing in vanilla rooms for the past few days, and I haven't seen any "pros" being mean to anyone, minus a few exceptions; usually they are silent and dont say anything But there was a case that I came across yesterday of a user, who had decent stats (they had around 3k firsts) and was calling whoever got 1st (unless it was them) a noob and that it was "their first". However, another thing that happened yesterday was that there were 2 users who had signed up that day (3rd nov) which I shall call mouse1 and mouse2; mouse1 was shamming and mouse2 was calling them a noob since they didn't know how to sham, yet when it came to mouse2's sham go they failed also. Personally I think it depends on who you are talking to. There are some "pros" that have a bad attitude, but there are also noobs which have a bad attitude as well. sunflowrcake a dit : same i have a bad attitude but i suck And anyway, "pro" players have always had a bad attitude, generally. I'm not saying every skilled player is a jerk but it seems most of them are. That's just the community of TFM, it's terrible. Sometimes I avoid being shaman (switching rooms before my turn) or playing on another community server just to avoid being insulted by people I don't even know. i have the worst attitude and i suck at everything tho - All i can say is that "pros" aren't pros, they are just people that want to troll, real "pros" are the ones that are nice. Actually, to be honest, in this game there arent "pros" or "noobs", everyone is a little mouse that wants cheese. |

I've seen just as many rude "pros" as rude anything else. It's not the pro-ness, it's the person. Some of them let it get to their head, sure, particularly those who statpad for firsts. But honestly, it does depend on the person and on the situation. Maybe you're catching a pro on a bad day. I know that I've had a fair number of bad days in which I came on tfm to distract myself from real life, only to find people spamming or trolling or throwing slurs around, etc. Am I going to be rude on those days? Possibly, though I wish I had more patience. One reason for rude pros--other than condescension, as many people in this post seem to believe is the case--is that pros have been on tfm longer and are sick of the bullying, spamming, obnoxious behavior, and degradation that goes on all the time on transformice. As time goes on it gets harder to put up with it. You do lose your patience for many of the behaviors of other players. Rudeness in response to other players' builds is unacceptable--we were all new once--but if for instance someone is going around threatening to sexually assault everyone, you bet I'm going to use some language that I may or may not regret later. |

Many of the BR "pros"(mainly statspadders) are really rude. When someone beats them, they would call the person "noob", "lixo" and such. Personally, I have experienced this before. However, there are some players that are really nice! So well, not all are bad but some are still... |
