By the way, if you actually went on the Café more than once (I'll just assume you're from E2 like most people), you'd know it's not as bad as it seems, people tend to be nice from time-to-time.

I read the E2 and EN cafes almost every day, so I'd say that is more than once. It is often nice but it has some shocking content, usually when no moderators are online.

We are expected to keep our posts within the rules, the responsibility is on the poster to do this, not the witness.

Don't really understand what you're saying but something along the lines of, "I'm a little kid so please don't let me be able to see these gross things on cafe," is what I'm assuming.

First of all if you're not comfortable with the cafe and the creators of tfm won't be removing it anytime soon then I suggest to not even click onto the cafe tab if you're going to complain about every little gross thread you find, and it's not really fair to the people who enjoy the cafe to have that taken away from them.

I agree with this, because I for one am not a fan of the cafe as of right now, however, I was when it was pretty fun to be browsing through the cafe and looking at topics which I was genuinely interested in, but nowadays I don't find the cafe very appealing so I tend to not even click on it.
This solution makes both parties happy, because in my point of view, I don't like the cafe so I don't click on it or look through it. There problem solved for me. I don't bother the cafe, the cafe does not bother me, and the people who actually do enjoy the cafe don't have to be bothered by the complainers.

They can go on with their lives chatting up in the cafe without some person barging in and ruining their day simply because said person is not comfortable with their topic of choice.
Everyone has different interests and it is not fair to judge someone based on something they like, but you don't.

If there is a gross thread that many people are against simply just let it die. Cafe threads come up fairly often I feel like and the unpopular ones usually die within the minute of creation.

the cafe is basically just like any other community tbh?? theres good ppl and bad ppl in any community, i dont rlly see it as a huge deal? it's not like youtube is going to shut down because there's some bad people and good people on it
