I actually do understand how it's very annoying if people keep harassing me all the day but.. I would just ignore that person (and I just don't get it why some people don't want to use the ignore button) or if they try to annoy me by any other way I would do /silence. Also, I already mentioned that, even if I changed my name, and someone added me but I didn't add back, my changed username would still show up on their friend list? I don't know how everything works but just in case of that, then they will be able to look at my profile and they will guess who I am from my badges and tribe and soulmate and blah and they will still be able to harass me so eh..

and @first quote: I was just talking about avoiding confusion since if the option was implemented and for example I chose it to show my previous name, but didn't make an account for it, then someone made an account using my previous username, there will be some confusion since it says my previous name was Charbelsa and someone notices that an account with the name Charbelsa was made. Anyway, who knows what's going to be implemented with the name change

Well some people get tired of just trying to harass players everyday.. But if someone is going to try and harass people all the time then that's a big problem.. But then they will still know the person is so.. the harassing will still complete. Also I am just saying that people who changed their names may say that they're other people so there should be a way to assure who is the actual person, but what you and Mynerdyways are saying is a bigger problem but people will still be able to know who people are even with the username change so :/

I didn't know my suggestion/thought will turn out like this...

If people are seriously being harassed or just harassed , i think through pm/email they should ask a admin/mod/sentinel to remove their previous username off of their profile

But to be honest, since the admins are installing this to the game, they can do what they like with it

you may think you have a bad username
but nothing is worse than a username that is misspelled and has numbers at the end.

I like it! Maybe if there was like a small + icon to open it because it seems a little cramped into that spot. Just a suggestion.

Also just to throw this out there, do you guys think it will change your registration date to the day you changed your username? Just a question that came across my mind. I don't know if this was talked about already.

Idk why we have the space after our name . It looks useful enough for a button . I think it should be used to show previous usernames

possibly, but more than likely not.

There should be no way changing a username would change your registration date. There are lots of sites that allow username change even if your of date registration is Kept hidden ,or out in public.

Bullshit. I think it should be 1000 or more cheese, and less fraises, and you should only get to change your name once every month.

1000 fraises sounds pretty ridiculous for a name change, you're pretty much paying $10 to change your name on a mouse game. I'd expect the max cost to be around 500 fraises. That way anyone who is desperate to change their name (which from what i can tell, a lot of people who made their account long ago are) can simply buy the first fraises option. But then again, who knows.

My main concern is, how many times/when people will be allowed to change their name. I hope they do something like, you can only change your name once every 2-3 months or so. It is incredibly annoying when someone, especially a friend, decides it is a good idea to switch names every week.
