This is why people shouldn't turn non-human undertale characters into humans. And the skin color choices are not even close to what a non human undertale character would look like as a human

Just because you don't like the art style and the way an artist decided to humanize the characters they doesn't mean it shouldn't happen at all.
This doesn't mean every humanization art of non-human characters are necesarilly bad either, just look up Pokémon gijinka and you'll get some pretty amazing pieces.

This is just a piece you (and some others) weren't so fond of, and that's okay, but imagine if you tried drawing these characters too and someone said your art was ugly.
That's discouraging and downright rude.

It's personally not how I would imagine the characters as humans either but either way someone put effort and time into their art to create what they had imagined. You shouldn't completely bash it. :^(

Well, it's not like they'll go to this website and watch us criticize their artwork. I'm also one of those people who think if someone doesn't see someone making fun of him/her behind his/her back, then it's not considered rude until they actually see it. Also it's not completely "bashing" it. If you ever saw the en2 cafe in transformice you know there are much more ways to insult artwork. Jokes about bleach, burning it, etc. all I really did was say a couple of flaws in the artwork and what I think.

you are implying that people shouldn't humanize most of the characters at all and practically implying that whenever someone does draw humanized characters you'll most likely associate it with a negative outlook.

I get it, you don't like the art, neither do I, but still have some appreciation that some people do try their best to implicate what they imagine from the characters given into what can be entirely new characters- simply humanized.
It's creative, and even though I don't like this piece in particular I still got to give them credit for trying and also putting the art out over the internet at all (which can cause anxiety for some artists in fear of negative remarks) so I would think a little more about how you word things- imagine if your friend was that artist and you called it "ugly". That surely wouldn't make that friend feel too happy.

Unless Toby Fox has given these characters a humanized form already, then it is up to anyone to give these characters whatever skin tone they would find fitting to use within their art for humanizing said character.

How would you know what they'd look like as humans?
Isn't it up for interpretation?
That's simply what everyone drawing humanized Undertale characters are doing- using their imagination to interpret how these characters would look given a new form.

I wish selling certain Undertale merch wasn't illegal. :^(
As understandable as it is, man I would love to make some merch and be able to add them to my commissions.
However iirc it's alright to do so as long as it's not replicated copies of the the game's art?

And then when it comes, I feel surprised that someone actually thought that I shouldn't have said that. Have you ever felt like that? I guess I can't blame you for thinking I wasn't joking, because I've done that often. And then there's the issue of something I don't want to say on this thread. Hint: it's something that's meant for posting in the comfort corner, but I just believed that I don't need it and nobody would believe me because of how I act in this forum. I actually wouldn't be surprised if someone insulted my artwork, because I know I'm not good at drawing and I doubt myself about it. I think I'm making this off topic, so I guess we can drop this and move on..?

Spoiler Now, I won’t stop individual fans from selling the following items at cons: - Prints, charms, buttons, keychains, stickers, etc. - Most handmade items - Undertale zines/fanbooks/doujinshi - Musical albums/CDs that contain UNDERTALE remixes as <=30% of tracks. (Still figuring out full albums…) However, restrictions exist: - You cannot use the UNDERTALE logo or put the name UNDERTALE on it, as it is trademarked. (Weird, right!?) - No t-shirts, apparel/clothing,* or machine-made figures or machine-made plushes. - Do not sell merch via Redbubble, zazzle, or other large online store. - No, you still can’t do Kickstarters or crowdfunding campaigns for UT-related things. - If you’re a company (like Sharkrobot or Hot Topic or something) you cannot sell UNDERTALE merch of ANY kind. - Do not compete with official merch & acknowledge my copyright. If necessary, I can halt any unofficial item’s sale. (Really don’t want to ^^;;) - If this change turns out to be actually bad, I can reverse the decision. - If you sell, please have played the game. * Exception: if someone hand-made a few scarves, hats, cosplay, or accessories, it’d probably be OK. But if mass-produced, it could become a problem.
