Actually I might do the genocide route fully before I delete Undertale from my computer because why not (I reset my game at Sans and went for pacifist instead btw)

and still, to this very day, i have still failed to beat sans. i don't think i ever will, anyways. i don't really care for the game that much anymore.

If you need any tips, try saving the butterscotch and instant noodles until you face him.
And if you get really stuck on trying to beat him, you can edit your save file to have more HP and to put all your item slots as butterscotch pie. That tip goes for anyone stuck on the genocide or pacifist run. It kinda fucks you on neutral with the dirty hacker ending, but otherwise it's incredibly useful. (And who really plays neutral anyway after the first time? It gets so repetitive.)

and he does? if so, then damn. also i counted the amount of times i died on a notebook, and i died over 105+ times.

To edit your save file, go to:
C:/Users/<Your User>/AppData/Undertale
on Macs its located at
User/<Your User>/Library[Hidden folder]/Application Support/com.tobyfox.undertale/

Locate ''file0'', inside should be your character name and a bunch of random numbers.
Identify which number is an item slot by checking the numbers of the items in your inventory and replacing them with the number of butterscotch pie. There also should be a health bar, you can edit that to get 40 or so more hp (it has a max). You can also set your love to 20 (since it doesn't really matter now you're so far in the game). You can also edit how much gold you have. link to item numbers
